Sonia Pressman Fuentes is a lawyer, writer, and speaker. She was the first woman attorney in the General Counsel's Office at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and a founder of the National Organization for Women (NOW). In 1996, she received the Veteran Feminists of America Medal of Honor. 

Ms. Fuentes is a renowned women’s rights advocate and a self-published author of the book Eat First – You Don't Know What They'll Give You, which chronicles her significant role as cofounder of the second wave of women’s movement. The memoir also talks about Ms. Fuentes’ personal life and a celebrated professional career that saw her become the first woman attorney in the Office of the General Counsel at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
