Using vector (instead of rasterized) representation of images provides so much more insights. It is like using analytical methods instead of numerical ones. Nice work! I am looking forward to playing with the open source model sketch-rnn!

P.S.: sketch-rnn already exists O_0 https://github.com/hardmaru/sketch-rnn
Can machines learn to draw and generalize abstract concepts like people can? Cat-pig math suggests it's possible!

One LSTM unit can outperform entire neural nets in terms of sentiment analysis! Very strange and interesting.

I rewrote a code to be compatible with TF 1.0.1 and tested it myself. Results are very impressive! https://github.com/g3n1uss/generating-reviews-discovering-sentiment

How did I miss this? Another connection between success of deep learning and theoretical physics

This is very interesting: the recursion is the key to generalization #machinelearning

Another summary of deep learning successes. It is interesting mainly because of the list of references: obviously the authors know the literature very well #deeplearning

What a great talk by LeCun summarizing recent progress in neural networks. Must watch #neuralnetworks
