I spent the night at Bains des Pâquis...
...OK not really but it almost felt like I did. I'd been meaning to go to the dawn music concerts since last year but could never get my night owl body to get up early enough. This time I was determined to do it so I went to the BDP website to check out the dates and times. While I was there I saw that they were offering free stand up paddle boarding trials and I couldn't resist! I'd been wanting to try this for months. How could I resist a free trial right in my own 'backyard'? And while I was still on the website, I saw that they also had a free movie week.
So at 7pm we did paddle boarding, then at 9pm we saw the amazing full moon rise, at 9:30pm we watched the film "Bombón: El Perro", a very funny and heartwarming film from Argentina (in Spanish with French subtitles) about a man and this dog, and didn't get home till after midnight and went to bed at 1am. Then at 5am I was up again to get to BDP before dawn for their dawn concert... so it did kinda feel like I spent the night there! and after having slept only 4 hours I was kinda dead but it was worth it to enjoy the very last of summer and Geneva's wonderful free outdoor events :)
All photos (except dawn ones) taken with my Canon s100.
