Hi all!
It's been a while, but as you can see, I've been making a few changes. All is revealed in the post below. (Slight delay in the post to Google as I've been away...)

Hello writers!
As some of you know I am Making Changes to some of the services I offer through Bothersome Words. I began a research project last year into how the publishing industry has changed and what writers are - and aren't - getting by way of support, development and education when it comes to writing and publishing. I've now put together a short survey and I'd love to hear from you if I haven't already.

Bothersome Words: now taking manuscript submissions for Etopia Press

A funny thing happened while I was blundering around the interwebs late last year. I was rummaging around on Twitter, minding my own business, when I stumbled into a conversation about tentacle fiction. That wasn’t the funny thing, obviously. Conversations about tentacles are a dime a dozen online, (if you, ah, know where to look) and they can be Serious Business – but the non-linear result was this announcement: I am now a freelance editor for Etopia Press!

                ********************************************************
As such, I am now taking direct manuscript submissions for:
·         YA fiction;
·         Speculative fiction (including fantasy, science fiction and horror); and
·         Romance/erotica (Etopia Press is particularly interested in erotic romance, M/M, and BDSM/fetish)

Works of all lengths are encouraged.

                ********************************************************

Please check out my new submissions page for details on what I’m looking for, visit Etopia Press (http://etopiapressblog.wordpress.com/submission-guidelines/) to find out more about what they publish, and spread the word!

Today I am over at David McDonald's "Wednesday Writers" blog, talking about the glitz and glamour of life as a freelance editor.

Spoiler alert: Not really glitzy or glamorous.
