Preschool Screening for the Tri-Center School District

Who:
Children ages birth to 5 who live in the Tri- Center Community School District and are not presently in Kindergarten.

What:
A developmental screening which gives you the opportunity to see if your child is playing, moving, thinking and talking at his/her age level. Screenings include: vision, hearing, speech-language, overall development, and a growth assessment.

Why:
The Preschool Screening can give your child a better educational start when they enter school and your child must attend the screening as a part of the preschool application process.

When:
Friday, March 10
8:00 a.m. To 1:00 p.m.
Must call for an appointment!

Where:
Tri-Center Preschool Room Tri-Center Elementary
For Appointment:
Please contact the Tri-Center Elementary Office at 485-2271. Please bring your child’s immunization card to your appointment.

Cost:
It's FREE for all children, fund for all children, and reassuring to parents.

All Day Preschool Program
If you are interested in signing your child up for the 4 year old Tri-Center All Day Preschool Program, you should attend the Preschool Screening.

Tri-Center Middle School is holding its annual spring book fair during parent-teacher conferences. There are several books to choose from ranging from early elementary to adult novels. The book fair will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All proceeds from the book fair go toward buying books for classrooms and both libraries. Thank you in advance for your support and helping our kids continue their love of reading.

The Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN) is contracted with Comcast SportsNet (CSN) to televise and video stream live the 2016-2017, 2017-2018and 2018-2019 football, wrestling and basketball semi-finals and finals for their coverage area which includes Iowa, Illinois and Indiana.

The Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN), in conjunction with Track Wrestling, will be streaming live every match of the entire State Dual Tournament and every match of the Quarter Final and First Rounds of the Individual Tournament.

Connor Attkisson and Tyler Paulson will be wrestling in Des Moines at State Wrestling on Thursday, February 16th during session 2 from 1:30-4:30 at Wells Fargo Arena.
