Informal Vietnamese dishes served on communal tables with a bring your own drink policy.- Google
"For authentic Vietnamese cuisine this is my favourite on Kingsland road."
"NEVER GO HERE, there's many places around with far nicer staff and similar food."

Highly recommend their pho bo, really good stock, nice deep flavours and very light, perfect for detoxing after xmas.

After Mien Tay, this is probably my best spot for authentic Vietnamese food on Shoreditch high street. I don't know if they still have it, but I liked their bring-your-own drinks policy. Again, as with Mien Tay (nearby), I really like the mango Seabass fish with egg fried rice. The decor here isn't too bad too, probably better than the others.

Traditional cuisine in huge portions, well worth the money. BYOB which is always amazing and a off licence round the corner. Good service and very tasty. The decor isn't too amazing. A little brigtht.

My favourite of the vietnamese along this famous road. BYOB too which is great, the prices aren't the cheapest on offer but the quality is very good and tasty. Always booming with people, get's very busy but the turnaround is quick.

It was my first Vietnamese experience and I loved the quick service and very yummy food. I took my two small children and partner and we all enjoyed our meal. It was busy and loud being a Friday night but that is expected anywhere

Decor is a little cheesy (massive plastic lobster mounted on the wall?) but the food is excellent. For authentic Vietnamese cuisine this is my favourite on Kingsland road. I would give the traditional Pho and Bun a try if you're a newbie. But if you're adventurous, ask the waiter to recommend dishes or let him order for you. :) No long waits and prices are reasonable - definitely check it out! NB - Tay Do have 2 branches on the same road. If you can go to the smaller restaurant. The food tastes better there . Peace & Love, Angie

Five of use headed for Tay Do on a Friday night after some quite after work drink in Shoreditch. We stopped off at the corner shop to pick up some booze as this place is BYO and they managed to pack us is to a small corner of the restaurant without any delay - When I say packed in tight I'm not kidding, you will find your self elbow to elbow on a Friday night. We went for a range of dishes all of which were great value and just the trick for a boozy night out. The noodle dishes were excellent and we had some really fresh spring rolls which were great. I wasn't so great at picking my dish however and ended up with a slightly stodgy pork & rice dish. It was probably because the noodles looked (& tasted) so good that I was left feeling a little disappointed. Would I go back - yes, but I might also be tempted to try out some of the other Vietnamese place on Kingsland road.
