I have two media interviews this week on improving personal productivity at work. One with NBC Today (online version, not TV) and Entrepreneur magazine. I only accept interviews about topics I can answer off the cuff...things I really know. #StayInMyLane How did I get the opportunities? SEO - search engine optimization - Google is my friend. #INeverHaveToPitch

VIDEO: When I'm in a Word document, I print the current page I just edited, and I do it multiple times a day. I recorded a macro shortcut to make this quick. All I have to do is Alt+P, and the current page I just edited prints. Here's a real quick video to show you how to create your own shortcut key by recording a quick and easy macro. #MicrosoftHasLotsOfMagic #SuiteTuesday

Did you copy-paste text from a PDF into a Word document and ended up with a bunch of short paragraphs or lines of text? You proceeded to click at the end of each sentence and hit Delete on every line. Here's a shortcut. #SuiteTuesday

VIDEO: It's SUITE TUESDAY, and in this week's real quick video I'll show you how to clean up a Word document after pasting text from a PDF. Instead of clicking and deleting at the end of each line to adjust the spacing, use Word's magic. #SuiteTuesday

I'm a personal productivity coach and consultant and this is your answer: ORGANIZE (paper and computer clutter) to spend less hours looking for something; SYSTEMATIZE to develop a streamlined process when it's something you have to do more than three times; and COMPUTERIZE to actually learn whatever technology you touch every day. If you do these three main things, you'll spend less time working but get more done so you can go home at a reasonable hour and not be burned out when you get there!

But why won't you do it? Why won't you stop long enough to do this? You're too busy.

VIDEO: It's Suite Tuesday, and this week's real quick video is about AutoText in Microsoft Word. Anything you have displayed on a page and selected can be stored as an AutoText entry. For example, your company logo, your handwritten signature, paragraphs you use often, and so much more. You'll finish work quicker when you know which buttons to click! #SuiteTuesday
