Ice caves in Iceland are have a short lifespan but are a majestic beauty to witness. You can only visit them in winter. In the dead of winter, when everything appears as a seamless blanket of white, cathedrals of blue crystal are formed deep within the heart of Iceland's glaciers.....

Greener on the other side

Chital (Axis axis)

Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, Karnataka, India

How typical that what is most tempting in the middle of the monsoon is not that which is easily accessed, but almost out of reach. I guess the leaves on this tree are absolutely irresistible, as it would be much easier and simpler to pick what’s near or on the ground. The monsoon is the time of plenty, when you can afford being picky and select only the very best.

This species, also called spotted deer, is very numerous in many places, and here they are seen almost wherever you turn your head. A haven for the tiger and leopard.

The part of this article I liked the most was the idea of an "eyeball planet":

"One type of possible water world is an “eyeball” planet, where the star-facing side is able to maintain a liquid-water ocean, while the rest of the surface is ice. (Image via eburacum45/DeviantArt)"
