To quote a friend/ Warren that translated the factory description
"Loetz Texas Empire or pensée verlaufend Texas mit Silber.
By way of translation, Pensée (Pansy) is a shade of violet used by Loetz, verlaufend (spreading) Texas (which is the densely threaded type of glass used in the vessel body) mit Silber (with silver - refers to the iridescent applications)"

... Thank you Warren Galle

This one has two golden wreaths that adorne each side.
Stands 5 1/4"tall with a polished pontil.

This Loetz vase stands 4 3/8" tall. Its form is often described as "tortured" with a square rim that transitions to a round base. Medici comes in several colors but I have a preference for the opal blue seen here or the metalic yellow. Its bright iridescence is highlighted by all the nooks and crannies. Circa 1902.
