Came here while visiting Philly to get a great cheesesteak and we were not disappointed, not only was the food amazing, but the employees were very friendly and socialized with customers. It felt like a comfortable bubble in the middle of the bustling city. As a side note we went to sonny's earlier and I didn't even order food, the girl working was being rude with customers and had a terrible attitude, before I could get to the counter she made me change my mind.

I'm a philly native, so I know the best places to get a cheese steak are neighborhood pizzerias...I visited with friends from Hbg & brought them here for an "authentic" cheese steak...gotta say I wasn't impressed. Definitely a tourist trap & while the cheese steak was ok, the fact that they don't serve fries is disappointing. A cheese steak needs fries, not your moms homemade potato salad or mac n cheese

I paid almost 40 dollars for two works, two mac and cheese and drinks.but the food was bland, tasteless it had not seasoning at all, the mac and cheese was the worst though ,I think it was gooey and not well cooked.i heard about this place on youtube and they wrong for recommending it, the food is overpriced and whatever.i cant believe they charged me for a side and a drink, this place is also very uncomfortable , like a small tuna can.the chairs are like plastic lawn chairs and everyone us hudled , it wasn't what a restaurant should look like, cheap and the food is forgetable.go somewhere else

Appreciate having the option of a vegan cheesesteak near Old City, but they are really chintzy on everything but the roll (which wasn't huge, but it was good.) For a $12+ sandwich (they charge extra for the cheese), I left Campo's hungry which just shouldn't be for the dough paid. I've had the same at Citizens Bank Park Campo's and my memory is that they seem bigger there, but I'm usually pairing it with Chickies fries, so they may be the same with the fries filling the void. Rating should be 2.5 stars, but google doesn't do half stars. If you are looking for a great vegan cheesesteak in Phila, go to Blackbird on 507 s 6th St. Philadelphia, PA, 19147. For comparable price (it may be cheaper) you won't leave hungry and it has a really authentic Philly cheesesteak experience with fries as an option.

Wow! Amazing! My wife and I just enjoyed cheese steaks from Campo's in Raleigh NC! My old roommate Joe, who lived in Raleigh for a few years, before his return to Philly, finally paid his bet from 4 years ago when the Blackhawks beat the Flyers in 6 games for the Stanley Cup. I am a huge Blackhawk fan and "Joe from Philly" (that's what us southern folks called him) a huge Flyers fan, decided to make a bet. If the Flyers won, I would ship him Clyde Coopers BBQ, famous here in Raleigh, and Joe loved it. If Blackhawks won, which we all knew they would, he would send me 2 cheese steaks from Philly. Well four years later Joe From Philly finally paid his bet and I just ate mine with peppers and cheese wiz. I do agree that it is all about that bread! Even though it was delivered by plane and then UPS, it was still oh so fresh. Not to mention we got the "taste of Philly" included tasty cakes, chews, and pretzels to put in the oven. I would recommend anyone out in the world to order the cheese steaks from Campos, they are delivered fresh to your door, even if you are 8 hours away. If you ever want to win a bet, bet against teams from Philly, they are know to choke, and make the bet for cheese steaks! I hope they make the finals again or Superbowl one day, so I can call Joe from Philly and get another free meal! Thanks Campos and thanks Joe!!

Great cheese steaks and nice people behind the counter. Me and my friends got cheeseteaks and some sides and sodas. Nice little restaurant near the liberty bell and the Mitchell and Ness store! Way better than Pats or Genos!

WORST FOOD ON THE PLANET! THE GOOD REVIEWS WERE POSTED BY THE OWNER. EVEN LOWLY MCDONALD'S BLOWS AWAY THIS OVERPRICED, OVERHYPED GARBAGE. CAMPO'S CHEESESTEAKS TASTE LIKE FECES! The bottom-feeding wannabes at Campo's should concentrate on making a better product, not overhyping their Burger King-caliber schlock.
