INAUGURATION OF ATAL TINKERING LAB

In an endeavour to inculcate and develop scientific temperament in the young learners of today, Sanskar School Jaipur, proudly inaugurated Atal Tinkering Laboratory on 7th Sept 2018, in the presence of Prof. Y. K. Vijay, President, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Principals Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj (CBSE) and Mrs. Girdhar Kumari (International Curriculum), and the students.

It was indeed a moment worth cherishing for the institution as the lab would contain educational and “hands-on-do-it-yourself” kits and equipment on electronics, robotics etc.

Prof. Y. K. Vijay, in his interactive session with the students, showed them different experiments and also directed them to bring in innovations in their projects. He also said that such and effort would thus showcase the scientific skills of the children and thereby empower to lead India.

Sanskar student wins Gold in National Grappling Championship

Sanskar School student, Ritul Khandelwal of Class XI, participated in the 11th National Grappling Championship 2018 held at M.D.University, Rohtak from 18th to 19th August. The championship was held for Youth, Senior and Veteran categories at the event.

Inter House Hindi Debate conducted at Sanskar School

Sanskar School conducted its annual Inter House Hindi Debate Competition 2018-19 on 29th August for students of classes VI to X. For classes IX-X, the topic for the debate was ' Kashmir ke liye anucched 35A ki aawashyakta'. The students argued strongly for and against the motion to justify their stance. The debate was won by Rig house in the First position followed by Yajur, Sam and Atharva houses in the Second, Third and Fourth position. Ayushya Joshi (IX) and Khushboo Mathuria (X) were adjudged Best Speakers for both sides of the argument - For and Against the motion, respectively.
In case of classes VI and VII, the students debated on the topic ‘Social media yuva peedhi ko gumraah kar raha hai’. For class VIII, the topic for the debate was ‘Shiksha ki adhunikta me naitikta dam tod rahi hai’. The debate was won by Rig house in the First position followed by Sam, Atharva and Yajur houses in the Second, Third and Fourth position. Leisha Kataria (VI), Akshita Rawat (VII) and Shrishti Sharda (VII) and Rishit Paliwal for class VIII were declared Best Speakers for their respective classes.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Students of Pre-Primary and Class I celebrated Janmashtami on 31st Aug, 2018 with great enthusiasm and fervor. Scenes of Krishna Janma, Bal Leela and Krishna – Sudama friendship were enacted. These scenes from the life of Shri Krishna give lessons related to values of friendship, love, commitment and victory of good over evil. The efforts of the students were appreciated by one and all.

Sanskar Dance Champs clinch D’fest 2018

Sanskar dance champions won the D’fest Season-4 Inter School Dance Championship 2018 organised by Buskers. The event was held at B.M. Birla Auditorium on 28th and 29th August for different categories and age groups. Sanskar winning team, which comprised students from classes VIII to XII, secured the First place in Free Style Western Group Dance (Senior) category. The team members were Aman Sharma, Prashant Choudhary, Kartik Tiwari, Krisha Jadeja, Disha Sheoran, Shreenidhi Tanwar, Mayank Rana, Ishu Sharma, Arpit Singh, Parth Kumawat and Anubhya Rana.
Sanskar school students also won the Second Runners Up position in two different categories – Free Style Western Group Dance (Junior) and Folk Group Dance (Senior). The former team comprised students from classes IV to VII namely Lakshita Suthar, Tanishqa Rathore, Avni Maheshwari, Payal Rathore, Sarvesh Pareek, Ichcha Singhal, Tanmay Singh, Krishna Kachhawa, Vaidehi Singh and Meha Agarwal. The latter included Naina Sambharia, Vidushi Dusad, Diya Wadhwa, Kritika Mundra, Geetiksha Goyal, Miti Khandelwal, Kumkum Bhati and Mriganka Rathore. The event saw around 40 school teams from Jaipur vying for the coveted positions.

Sanskar School Clinches Anirudh Mayaram Smriti Xavier Cup Basketball Tournament

Sanskar School Won the final match of the Anirudh Mayaram Smriti Xavier Cup Basketball Tournament against St. Edmunds School by 48-44. Satendra Singh Rathore from Sanskar School scored the maximum securing 16 points. Yashwardhan and Girraj scored 10-10, while Prashant managed a score of 7 points. Rishabh from St. Edmunds School scored 13 points followed by Nakul and Rudra with 10-10 each. Satendra Singh Rathore was declared ‘Best Player of The Tournament’.

Sanskar School Students shine at ‘Jagriti – An Awakening’

Sanskar school students secured the first position at ‘Jagriti – An Awakening’ held on 27th and 28th July 2018 at Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya. Daksh Sharma and Priyakshi Kaura, from class V, won the Best out of Waste – Creative Hands (Nature Club) event.
Sanskar School students also grabbed the Third place in two different events at the competition. Lekhanshi Paliwal and Jeevesh Sharma, from Class XI, obtained Third position in the activity that included a Multimedia PowerPoint Presentation (Science Club) for students from classes IX-XII. Gourang Sharma, Honesh Rai Pareek, Lekhanshi Paliwal, Pranjal Gupta and Kanishka Naruka, from classes XI & XII, attained the Third position in Enactment (Health and Wellness Club) activity.
