It's been 4 years with limited access on the East Side. $1.2 million in reimbursements from the state and federal governments are on the line, potentially putting Erie taxpayers on the hook for the bill. This is the second delay on the vote. The time is now to move forward and get the job done.

The quality of the schools is part of the quality of the cities and towns we live in.  I'm excited that the PA Municipal League is taking up the cause of full, fair funding for our PA Public Schools.

Good meeting today with Police Chief Bowers about the city's efforts to combat crime.  Overall crime is down  While gun violence is up, it's often drug related and/or retaliatory.  I thank the Erie Police for their continued work to keep Erie safe!

Emily and I were pleased to attend the Viennese Ball last night to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Erie Philharmonic. Congratulations and best wishes for 100 more years of wonderful music!

Three years ago today I was elected to Erie City Council. Thank you for allowing me to have the privilege to serve you and all the citizens of the City of Erie.

I am proud to support Brandon Neuman for PA Lieutenant Governor!  Please join us on Tuesday, April 15th from 5:00 to 6:30PM at the Erie Co. Dems HQ on 13th and State St. to meet Brandon and see why he's the best choice for PA!

After 4 months of discussion I am putting a resolution forward requesting the City Solicitor to draft an ordinance combining garbage with sewer and/or water bills so that the City of Erie can shut off the water on delinquent garbage accounts.

Excellence is more readily attained by being.

Being available.
Being kind.
Being compassionate.
Being transparent.
Being real.
Being thoughtful.
Being ourselves.
