A rare Friday night post up tonight on the blog! I decided to go ahead and share this one now in case someone might want to make this easy comfort-food crock pot recipe this weekend! http://www.creeklinehouse.com/2016/09/crock-pot-buffalo-chicken-casserole.html
This recipe combines two of my family’s favorite things: For Chris, it’s buffalo chicken, and for me it’s the Crock Pot. I just never get tired of coming up with inventive ways to use the crock pot to make my life easier when it comes to getting dinner on the table and this Crock Pot …

I tried this recipe out as an experiment just to see if it would work. I followed the same basic concept from my 3 Ingredient banana bread recipe to see if it would work for chocolate zucchini cake just as well. The results are in! http://www.creeklinehouse.com/2016/08/3-ingredient-chocolate-zucchini-cake.html
If you love chocolate zucchini cake but feel like you don’t have the time for all of the steps that it takes to bake it from scratch the old-fashioned way, then this 3 Ingredient Chocolate Zucchini Cake is for you! I came up with this recipe in the spirit of my super popular 3 Ingredient …

Happy May, everyone! We're definitely starting to get in the mood for some gardening around here so I started off with a few kitchen herbs while we wait for it to be officially "safe" to plant some stuff outside. Sharing some tips on harvesting basil today over on the blog! http://creeklinehouse.com/2016/05/harvest-basil-strong-productive-plants.html
If you’re new to the world of growing basil, you may tend to feel like you’re kind of injuring your plant a little each time you harvest a few amazingly aromatic leaves from it. You may only decide to harvest sparingly and try to let your plant grow as big, tall, and strong as possible …

A life without mashed potatoes and gravy every once in awhile is just SAD, but it can definitely be challenging to pull together a full family feast, including creamy mashed potatoes, during those hectic after-school hours when every one's got a million things to get done! Here's my easy little trick for getting that part of dinner taken care of well in advance of the dinner time rush!http://creeklinehouse.com/2016/04/crock_pot_mashed_potatoes.html
One thing that every single home cook needs to know how to make is a nice big batch of mashed potatoes. They’re the perfect accompaniment to so many classic main dishes like roast beef or chicken and they’re a comfort food staple at just about every big family holiday meal that I’ve ever seen! Luckily, …

New post up this evening! I put together a little Easter/Spring home tour just because it sounded like fun. smile emoticon http://creeklinehouse.com/2016/02/easter-home-tour-2016.html
So, I was going to get together with my Canadian Bloggers Home Tour group this week and do a whole big group home tour for Easter, but we just weren’t quite able to get our schedules all co-ordinated this time around. Quite a few of us were just a little too busy at this time …

New post up tonight! We've been working on a little mini kitchen update lately so I've been trying to also improve the organization in there while I'm at it. Tonight I'm sharing a bunch of my favorite extra clever kitchen organizers over on the blog! http://creeklinehouse.com/2016/01/clever-kitchen-organizing-supplies-that-will-whip-your-space-into-shape-in-no-time.html
I’ve become a really big fan of organizational products this last year or so. I used to always try to get by with just making my own organizers out of recycled materials that I found around the house, and sometimes they worked really well, but sometimes… not so well. Sometimes it can be such …

I've been meaning to write this post for a loooong time! I get a lot of emails from readers asking for help with all kinds of different blogging questions, but the one I get the most is "How do I go about actually starting a blog?" So I put together this quick little step-by-step if you've been wondering how you can try this blogging thing out for yourself too! http://www.creeklinehouse.com/2016/08/start-blog-work-home.html
I’ve been blogging for about five years now and it really has completely (completely!) changed my whole world. I’ve been able to enjoy earning a great full-time income while still being able to be home with my family as much as I want to and keep up with all the crazy-busy stuff that goes on …

OK, it may just be that we're really big fans of lime-flavored baked goods, but Kennedy and I made these cupcakes last week and we both agreed that they were pretty much the best cupcakes ever. Definitely add this one to your list of favorite summertime recipes! http://www.creeklinehouse.com/2016/06/sugared-lime-mini-cupcakes.html
I have a really cute summertime dessert to share with you today! Kennedy and I found some cute little sugared lime gummy candies at our local bulk foods store a few weeks ago and we knew we had to make some kind of limey cupcakey type thing to use them on. She had a PD …

Mother's Day is going to be here before we know it! If you were planning on looking for a really kid-friendly baking recipe to make for the big day, here it is! These cookies are so much tastier than plain sugar cookies and the dough is as easy to work with as play dough! Maybe even easier, actually!http://creeklinehouse.com/2016/04/worlds-best-easiest-cookie-cut-recipe.html
This is it. I’m a changed girl forever. I will never make another type of cut out cookies again after the results of this little experiment that we did recently. Not only was the dough for these cookies really easy to mix up, it was also insanely easy to work with. It was almost …

Hooray for clever readers!! This idea was shared in the comments section of one of my posts and I just had to try it out for myself! http://creeklinehouse.com/2016/03/how-to-freeze-avocado.html
My friends, gather around. This is big. This is huge. I had no idea this was something that could even be remotely possible. I mean, it’s avocado. It’s one of those things that pretty much only gets eaten fresh and it’s just so darn delicious that way. Why would anyone want to mess with …

New blog post up this evening! Easter's one of my favorite holidays so I started on a few little Easter projects a bit early this year. Sharing this idea for making these cute moss nests for cheap in today's post! http://creeklinehouse.com/2016/02/6189.html
I was playing around with a few different Easter decor ideas recently when I was getting set up for the Easter home tour that I’m putting together and I came up with this really simple idea that I thought was actually pretty clever too, if I do say so myself! I ended up reusing quite …
