I'm not sure how much more clear I can be about this, MEN in India and Pakistan:

DO NOT ADD ME. I DON'T KNOW YOU. I'M NOT HERE TO MAKE LONG DISTANCE MALE FRIENDS. I'M VERY HAPPILY MARRIED AND I DON'T WANT NOR DO I NEED TO SPEAK TO YOU.

Ok? Ok. Glad we've gotten that clear. I'm going to just start blanket blocking strangers at this rate. Everyone on these people's circles is potentially a block as well. I'm getting tired of having to block people every time I log on here. That is not why I signed up for Google+! Goodness....

You're not a woman so I'm going to just ignore your opinion.

Decided to try something a bit different today. Woke up kind of late and rather than eating some heavy, bready thing, I enjoyed a Greek olive medley from Whole Foods (very flavorful), a few slices of extra sharp cheddar cheese, and five thin slices of high quality salami.

I'm very alert and focused today, for the first time in a while. I think this has been an effective experiment.

And who says video games rot the mind? First surgeons and now multi-tasking? Heck yes! I am ALL FOR a reasonable FPS dose daily. :)

A new study shows that if you want people to be better at multitasking, you can help them with a training regimen of first person shooter games.

Clearing up my circles would be less time consuming in list format rather than that eensy weensy pop up that they give us. I do wish they would consider it rather than expect everyone to be able to see that well...

Very interesting article. I'm glad to have read it. I feel much more informed.

I still hate you, Wall Street, in case that wasn't clear.

Ok that's what I figured you meant, just wanted to be sure.

Anyway yeah these things aren't conventional knowledge because, frankly, no one is teaching them anymore unless you're an accounting major. Used to be once upon a time that high schools taught students about this sort of thing, then colleges. Now you basically need a lot of free time and a head for numbers (case in point on second item: you) or a CPA.

I do blame Wall Street on a massive level for most of this, I never said they were entirely to blame, but the brokerage firms are profiting from this ignorance and therefore they wish to keep it going. They also engage willfully--gleefully even--in predatory lending on a number of levels across all income brackets and lifestyles. It's a culture problem as much as it is a fiscal one.

Either way, this stuff is useful to know. A lot of people I am friends with don't know it so I shared it hoping to spread the enlightenment. Some of this stuff I knew before reading it, but that's because my parents weren't completely incompetent and took the time to give me SOME financial advice, even if their personal methods leave something to be desired.

I am going to be watching this situation with North Korea very closely over the coming months. I'm concerned that it will escalate quickly. Kim Jong-un is clearly either very bold or very stupid. Jury's still out which is the case.

Poor China is over there like "OH GOSH STOP IT! Can everyone please get along so we can still do business?! We don't want to lose ties to Japan and Seoul! D:"

I would be having a better experience, but I don't know the store hours. I don't even know what time they close. It's always a long wait when I go in there, even if there's only one group in line in front of me... They don't answer the phone. The service pretty much sucks. I wish the next closest location was closer. I'd rather go someplace else.
