I find it particularly irritating when regulators say that firms will be better off by the regulation...if that's true, why do you need to force them to do it?

Oil companies have a slightly lower profit margin than farm and construction machinery (6.5% versus 6.7%).

On the bizarreness of a research-centric academia.
