The worst bullshit excuse of a business and a complete waste of time to drive there to be informed on a Saturday they have a private event all day not worth the drive and I will never again waste my time with this sorry excuse of any business

Hated it! The staff was horrible and not friendly at all. They were not equipped to answer or questions nor provide any alternatives. The website says arrive and drive - yet when we arrived for an adult girls day out - we were told that there is an 1 1/2 - 2 hour wait and there weren't even a dozen people in the place. While waiting on another individual to arrive to give the bad news, we witnessed another couple's arrival and they were being informed that the next adult race would be in 20 minutes. We questioned the difference and inquired a second time about and adult race. We were told that the 20 plus bucks was for one 7 minute race. The staff didn't even say good bye or apologize as we left...

Had to experience this new track. Drove down from Peoria, IL. to try out Pole Position Raceway in St. Louis. It definitely did not disappoint. This was the first time I've even driven electric karts and they were just as fast and as fun as gas indoor karts I've driven before. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Mike, the owner, was keeping everything rolling smoothly. The layout of the facility was about as good as it gets for spectators. And the track was great, I cannot say enough good things about it.

September 21,2013...husband and 3 grown sons just finished racing here. INCREDIBLE!!! Absolutely the best and fastest go karts we have ever driven. Extremely nice atmosphere and equipment. Top notch!! Give this place a 10+! And for a Saturday night didn't have to wait too long to ride surprisingly. Bought a family membership, great investment for family time:-).

Fantastic karts, fantastic staff, fantastic facility. Very excited to have a place like this back in St. Louis. The course will leave you wanting to attack it again and again trying to shave off hundredths of a second. Very technical, very fast, good drivers will shine on this one. Definitely CANNOT just leave your foot on the gas and meander through the turns like at other go-kart places in St. Louis. These are serious machines. :)

Absolutely had a blast at Pole Position in South County. The staff is super friendly and did a good job explaining the pricing, rules, etc. It looks like they spared no expense on the facility - the registration, karts, and course are all very high tech. For $23 you get a 10 minute race which in my opinion is a good length of time. I ended up buying an annual membership because I'm definitely going to be coming back. As far as the racing goes, the karts are FAST, and extremely responsive. Definitely use the brakes on the technical parts of the course, and play it by feel the remainder of the turns. The steering is also very STIFF and I found that my arm started hurting after two races. I'm a fairly athletic guy so I'm not just making this up lol. One thing I wished they explained better though was that for the annual membership you can use the races at any time and you are NOT required to use them the same day.
