By FAR, the most powerful and influential marketing of any kind is WORD OF MOUTH - especially from people you know and/or trust. NO amount of company advertising or marketing can compare to what is said (both online and/or IN PERSON) by someone you know and/or respect. Keep this in mind at all times - and let others know if/when you have a good or bad experience with a company. Promote companies that exceed your expectations - and "punish" those that treat you poorly or that do not fulfill their promises. Do NOT (silently) tolerate poor service. Any company that does not value you as a customer does not "deserve" to have any. In addition to Yelp, make your views known on social media, other review sites, and most of all in PERSON (even with people you do not know). A "problem" is an opportunity for a company to convert a dissatisfied customer into a life-long one - OR to lose many more (forever). It costs MUCH less to keep current customers than to acquire new ones, so existing customers should always be treated better than those who are not yet customers. Companies that act otherwise do not understand the potential lifetime value or influence of those who already paid them and so other should actively be discouraged from ever doing business with them. Always help out companies that you like by mentioning something others may benefit from - and always help out others by mentioning companies you think they should avoid.

It's not about what you see, it's about what you don't see, won't see, can't see, or refuse to see. What you see with your eyes is never as important as what you see in your mind (and heart); how much more may exist out of view usually matters far less than how we interpret what we do see.

The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to him his own.

If you could only do ONE thing all day, what would it be?

Responsibility is the ability to respond. FEAR need NOT result in a response to Fight, Flee, or Freeze. A "better" response is often to access and show our "nerve".

Ever notice that nobody ever seems to say, "let's Yahoo! or Bing it"?
