Do not use this mover. If they damage your home they will not do anything about it, even though they say they are bonded and insured. I was very encouraged by all the positive online reviews I read for All Force Movers. When I called for a quote, Bobby was incredibly professional, and was easy to talk to. Moving day came and the team arrived on time. They were friendly and helpful and did a great job. (Or so I thought). When I walked into my laundry room I discovered that when they moved the washer and dryer into the room that they had somehow knocked the protective foot off of one corner of the dryer and then slid the dryer across the linoleum ripping huge holes into the brand new flooring. (The new home was new construction, and the floor was freshly installed two weeks prior to our move date, so there's no doubt that the movers are the source of the damage.) I called Bobby and we discussed the issue and he assured me that it would be taken care of, but would I send him photos of the damage? I did so promptly and then heard nothing. Over the next two months we went round and round via email and phone until he stopped responding to me at all. He lied to me when he told me that he would take care of the issue, he lied to me when he made an appointment with me to come review the damage in person. I got estimates to have the flooring replaced and the cost was $800. I was nothing but kind and patient and understanding of the realities of running a small business, and in return I got a destroyed floor and no recourse short of filing a lawsuit against this company.

I hadn't been to the dentist in an embarrassing number of years and I was (understandably) anxious about going back. On my first visit, I had a routine cleaning and exam and we discovered that I was going to need several fillings. My second visit was to get those fillings done, and my anxiety was through the roof. It was all for naught, the entire experience was comfortable and gentle and low key. (And fast!) Thanks! I don't mind going to the dentist now!

I absolutely love this shop. They are fair, fast and honest. They're very good about not just depending on what the "book" says about what needs to be done. They will actually look for themselves. They are also very friendly and don't treat me (a woman) like I don't know anything about cars. I love Todd and his team and I recommend them to anyone who is interested.

I am a frequent business traveler of late and the first time that I stayed at The James was due to a convention in town having booked all the hotels that were near the Merchandise Mart (where my company's Chicago office is located). So I decided that I could stay at this unknown hotel, a little farther away than I had planned for the first week I was in town. After the first night, I changed my hotel reservation for the next week from a chain hotel to The James for a second week. The hotel staff provided excellent service, they were friendly and helpful at checkin and the bell staff was courteous when I arrived out front. The room was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The amenities were better than I expected and I now call The James my home when I am in Chicago for work, which has been very often lately. I don't think that the rooms are especially kid-friendly, but as a business traveller, this is not on the list of things that I am interested in. What I need is a comfortable place to call "home" where I can get good rest and can easily find somewhere to eat dinner each night. Oh, and dinner? That's a snap! The room service menu has plenty of choices, and if that's not your thing, Pizzeria Due is in the same block (on the same side of the street even!), there's a Trader Joe's across the street for breakfast and fresh fruit and there are a WIDE variety of restaurants within a five minute walk, so there's no shortage of choice. (One tip, though, avoid the Mexican restaurant next door, Su Casa, it's just not very good at all.)
