Very often do we keep our heads aiming at the future, only to smile at the past behind our shoulder, longing to have stayed a little longer...

A lot had happened these 3 and a half years... All the people we met, all the things we'd done and all the moments we'd experienced. We are, what we are because of this journey.. And as it draws to an end for me, here is my end note on the amazing journey we had in Nirma :)

Good-bye :)

Maybe sometimes life is more than just a fake smile that you see from the outside. Sometimes, some lives are more of a perfectly organised mess. Something you could easily see through without noticing the hurricanes brewing under the smirking faces.

Sometimes, the hurricanes don't even exist.

And sometimes, you don't know if the hurricanes ever did exist or it's just your reality getting distorted in the process of understanding yourself with your so-called imagination...

My first ever poem it is :)

So as the story goes, today I witnessed something that we all have been witnessing since a lot of days, maybe since the beginning of time and humanity. But today, it was enough to trigger my emotions and write about it.. in the most true sense I could.

I am sorry if the poem sounds negative but that's what it is. In a world where people don't know what they are doing with themselves, with people following others like flock of sheep, with all the negativity running through the social media about everything potentially good, with everybody looking into the bad in the good, this poem reflects my honest feelings towards 'today'.

When we were young, there were no 'engineers' or 'doctors'. When we were young, all we wanted to be, was a good person.. :)

And I hope its still a good enough reason to exist! ;)

I once knew a person who was born to be the best. At least for what I knew from the 2 years we had together in secondary school, eyes with a bright spark of wisdom, a heart of innocence like none, strength like a rock but as gentle as silence..

Keeping life simple and beautiful, here is something I wrote on this special day...

Holding a cup of warm coffee and staring at the beautiful yellow sepia world as the rains pour down and paint the canvas of life...
