Geek points if you can explain the physics behind this:
This is strangely hypnotic:  32 randomly-started metronomes converge to become perfectly in sync.

At first, glance I thought these were birds. Click the picture and have a closer look. They are goats. Incredible.
Alpine Ibex goats native to the Alps and known for their awesome climbing abilities. Although they are usually found in the rocky mountain slopes at about 15,000 above sea-level -- clearly, they have no problem navigating man-made structures, too.

The Warp Drive Could Become Science Fact

A warp drive to achieve faster-than-light travel -- a concept popularized in television's Star Trek -- may not be as unrealistic as once thought, scientists say. A warp drive would manipulate space-time itself to move a starship, taking advantage of a loophole in the laws of physics that prevent anything from moving faster than light.

Was just watching the Star Trek reboot the other day and realized that the guy who spaced jumped with Sulu and Kirk was wearing red too.
I'm sure whatever they're about to do will work out just fine...
