Meet Bob.
He lives under the house.
We fed him some strawberries one day, now he has a sense of entitlement not often seen in reptiles.
This individual steals bones from our jack Russell terrier and has bitten Cookie in one of their frequent standoffs.
Tiliqua rugosa or blue tongue skink are more commonly known as bobtail lizards around here and are very common.
They are very slow-moving and have a habit of basking on the road so they are frequently squashed by traffic.
Hawks and most other predators will not eat them so they just amble about the place and do whatever they like.

They also love dog food.  I have something like these living in my messy garage, come work shop addition.  Never tidied it up because I don't want to disturb their hiding places.

+Moon Beam galahs have a well-deserved reputation for stupidity. I take one out with the bus nearly every day. My record is 9 at once!
They are a threat to agriculture and also other cockatoos.
Most cockatoos hatch a single egg. Galahs always hatch four, and they usually all survive.
Along with the port Lincolns they destroy antennas, polythene retic, shade cloth and young fruit trees, seedlings the list is endless.

Here's my Elecraft KX3 + KXPA100 +odroid c1 + odroid-vu portable setup under construction, along with it's power pack.

I'm looking for an off the shelf solution for powering the odroid and the touchscreen from one of the four cigarette lighter sockets.
There will normally be a usb-to-serial adapter and a high performance soundcard running on USB besides the '-vu.
Sometimes I might also run a rtl2832u.
Robustness is the main consideration.

Ignore the time on the display. The time on the website is correct.
Yes that's the original #RaspberryPi running #pywws that feeds the data to the web.
Is this a fucking heatwave or what?
