I know that it could look the same story than before. I can say that the current #Synfig crowd funding campaign is not like the others and it is special, bla bla....

But yes! it is really the one! Look! Look! Look the name of the branch at github!

https://github.com/blackwarthog/synfig/tree/opengl

So yes!, this time the development priority could make a HUGE difference! Please consider to contribute!

So, the +Synfig campaign have reached its goal and it's time to announce the development priority for April.

The "Choose Priority" reward was claimed by Rylander Animation studio (http://rylanderanimation.se/) and we will be implementing the special feature request -  BONE-DRIVEN IMAGE DISTORTION.

See the campaign announcement for details - https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/set-your-priorities-for-synfig-development-in-april-2014/x/2188395?c=activity

+Weder Clay Oliveira Ferreira Do you want to have both stable and experimental installed at the same time? That's possible!
1. Make sure to remove all installed deb packages from your system ( apt-get remove synfig synfigstudio ). Otherwise things won't work.
2. Download the "tar.bz2" packages for both stable and experimental. Unpack each into different directories. Each directory will have a launcher called "synfigstudio" inside. Start it to get appropriate version running.

Please let me know if you encounter any problems with that.
