Opening Saturday May 13
It’s good the six of us are back at the Sprinkler Factory. We are such a diverse group: we each work in a different way, with different media; we have different goals and opportunities. For five years we have maintained a loose, supportive relationship, with our differences allowing us to provide each other with new view-points and non-competitive criticism when we need it. And we enjoy using this gallery space, which is unique in central Massachusetts.
May 13th - June 4th, 2017
CONTINUUM: 5 YEARS ON
Opening Reception: Saturday, May 13th, 6-9 pm
Open Gallery: Saturdays & Sundays, 1-4 pm
Closing Reception: Sunday, June 4th, 1-4 pm (with Artist Discussions at 2pm)
Five years ago six artists joined forces for their first exhibition at the Sprinkler Factory Gallery. "Continuum: 5 Years On" celebrates their growth as friends and artistic collaborators. Although each artist works individually, the support of other group members has become a vital component of their artwork. This exhibition is contemporary and conceptual, featuring sculpture, painting, installation, and new media. It highlights the unique focus of each artist while reflecting the benefits of collaboration.
