This is good news in general:

One reason I have "faith", so far in Google Fi is that I hope it will represent a new level of transparency in smartphone service.

My data speeds with Fi (if I ever get it) will probably be a third or less than what I am now getting with AT&T. The cost will be lower, but not phenomenally so.

I think over time Google will improve the technology standard as well as set a reasonable price/performance standard that some other companies will have to struggle to meet.

Up until now the telcos, the cable companies and the government have acted like the Good Old Boys  oligopoly that most of us believe them to be.

Why they picked on AT&T for doing exactly what all the others have been doing is a mystery to anyone who wasn't at the cocktail party where some executive spoke too carelessly, or withheld a campaign "donation".

I just hope the bureaucrats don't decide to do a shakedown on Google Fi before it even gets off the ground.

$100M will vanish into government coffers like a drop in a bucket, but it will surely results in price increases for AT&T customers, about which the FCC doesn't give a shit.

Was there any mention of Project Fi at Google I/O?  If so I can't find it. Not in the keynote, not in the schedule.

I would have thought this pretty big news for Googlers to want to talk about during the big developers conference.

Only thing I can think of is that there is no "development" aspect to Fi.

A friend of mine put together a music video about Obamacare. There are two other version under the same Youtube account, but I thought this one the best.

Two more "polished" versions of this at the link.

Friend of mine put it all together.

The two parties are two peas in a pod.
And very closely at that.

A year ago I had never heard of "men's rights groups".  I wish I could go back to that!

They seem like under-educated whiners to me. (And a goodly number of drunks.)

Get a job!  The idea that somehow committing suicide is a noble response to unemployment is disgusting.

If you have dependents, think about them first, your ego second.

It's that simple.
