What a great shot.  Reminds me of old-school science fiction of a gray if not functional future.
Leading Line

While on a 48h getaway to #sandiego  on of the stops this time with +Lisa See  was the #salkinstitute. This definitely is a very cool location but we got there during lunch so we had peeps to contend with including one very rude guy. Setting up shot with camera on a tripod with ND filters takes time its not an Iphone. But what ever I let him take his shots and run his mouth a bit, I shrugged it off which really seemed to had him ticked off even more.

Somebody took the mashup that’s been playing continuously in my head and made it real. AND IT’S SPECTACULAR.

My wtf-per-minute count for Google desktop websites has been increasing steadily for several years now.  Today I got this message and had to reread it several times before I figured out what the heck it was trying to tell me:

"You may be using docs.google.com to access Google Drive. With the launch of the new Google Docs editors home screens, docs.google.com will redirect to the Docs home screen, where you’ll find all of your Google Docs and Word files.

To see the rest of your content in Drive, visit drive.google.com, instead. It’s easy to bookmark this site or use the Google App launcher to access Drive.

Learn more about the Google Docs home screen in the Docs editors help center."

This is officially one of my favorite space photos ever.
Orion's Belt Rises Through the Atmosphere: On June 23, 2014, Expedition 40 Flight Engineer Reid Wiseman captured this image which connects Earth to the International Space Station and to the stars. Among the "stellar" scene is part of the constellation Orion, near the center of the frame. The U.S. laboratory or Destiny is seen in the upper right.

Wiseman's tweeted the image and wrote, "One of my favorites – Orion’s belt rises through the atmosphere."
