To believe we as humans will actually think globally is an oxymoron. Globe is after all a village. It's the cities we love to live and protect. And unless a few mega cities get completely destroyed, nothing much but hope is what we will take back from Paris.

India is doing a lot to combat climate change. Central and state governments are planning to mitigate carbon emissions, and a few of the plans are being implemented. A lot more is being one to adapt to climate change effects that are already obvious. But India's position at international climate negotiations is stuck in the old groove.
