Well, it looks a right mess but soon this little patch is going to be overflowing with summer blooms! Oh and I need to think of a place to plant the two Himalayan Blue Poppies I was promised yesterday. Happy days and happy Saturday!

Attract native pollinators to your garden!

Bee a friend!  Plant some Bee's Friend to attract some pollinators to your garden. Bees love these lavender-blue flowers with curved spikes, and you'll love them, too, as an annual cover crop!

Reminiscent of a group of tents huddled together, this charming forest retreat has been made to nurture intimacy and save on heating and cooling costs.

A couple of new studies are showing that people who believe that they're sensitive to Gluten are actually reacting to other factors. Wheat might not be the enemy after all!

Have you ever been to or organised a community seed and plant share? It's a great way to meet other local growers and to pick up new seeds and plants for free! I organised one on Sunday...here's photos of the event:

I'm very proud to have been told by regular attendees of the Seed + Plant Share and Gardeners' Social that it's become one of the Isle of Man's gardening highlights of the year! The idea behind this late winter event is simple - bring your unwanted and unneeded seeds and plants and exchange them ...

Hi Tanya, I'm from the Philippines. We have a lot of gardening groups/forum in social media, and yes, we do meet once in a while and share seeds. It was fun and exciting, meeting new enthusiasts and receiving different kinds of seeds.
