Nice day alone
My wife's mom and step-dad are having their 25 year wedding anniversary celebration tomorrow and Sarah went over there today to help start getting all the food ready. Pulled pork I guess was the focus of the day. Either way, didn't matter to me, I was home ...

Hi. Again...
Been away from my blog for about two months now. Been busy! Whether it's moving, unpacking, enjoying being outside more, adjusting, dealing with new things and flat out trying to settle into many things such as the feeling of having my own [family] life for...

My 2nd life... One year anniversary
Saturday May 9th marked my one year anniversary of coming home. I didn't sleep the night before as I was soooo excited to get out of the hospital. Earlier in that week I cried tears of joy when one of my Doctors said he would approve of me leaving. That nig...

So what is similar to Tom Brady and his "probable knowingly cheating scandal"....?
It's different than PED's, domestic or child abuse, sex scandals, Sean Payton's suspension and Pete Rose's ban and drug issues, among others. I'm not sure what compares to this. He asked his equipment staff to alter the footballs and then denied it, and still lies about it. The fact of the air pressure in the football is extremely unlikely to alter any game that he played in. But maybe it did... Perhaps it helped Vinatieri kick game winners like he did versus the Raiders in the 'tuck rule' game.
Some options of similarities may include:
-Sammy Sosa suspended 8 games for a corked bat in 2003, saying he 'only used it for batting practice.'
-Jerry Rice admitting recently that he used sticky gloves.
-Lawrence Taylor possibly used a slippery substance on his own jersey.
-Hockey players altering their sticks.
-Pumping in fake crowd noise. Atlanta just got busted, and I wouldn't be shocked if other domes have done this before.
-Ryan Braun got busted, claimed an improper testing and that he was innocent, was then acquitted, until he was later proven guilty and then he eventually admitted his wrongdoings. He got 65 games, lost over $3M and gets booed regularly, at least on the road. I'm a Brewer fan and got his jersey as a wedding gift and am extremely user with him still. He got what he deserved and hasn't been anywhere near the same since.

Potassium, Legs
Had my Potassium levels checked yesterday at Westfields. Shows I'm on the lower end of the safe zone but still safe. I stopped taking my Potassium pills when my prescription ran out about a week ago and I've been getting really sore legs and feet lately. Fe...

I think the fans at the draft could stop booing Goodell EVERY time.

N.R. Today
The past several weeks when it hasn't rained I've taken Scarlett on walks. Sometimes we go to the school and 'pick' Ryan up and enjoy our way home. It's nice to get out of the house and get a little needed exercise and sun. For real on the sun becuase my po...

One year ago I re-met my son. Very courageous boy. I went into my coma when he was 6, spent the better part of two months under and been recovering ever since. Now he's 8. So grateful. (Not to mention my daughter being born the day after his 7th bday:)
