As a builder of internet things, I'm all for feedback, the more the better. But it's important to remember that it should be constructive in nature. I just read a nasty post where a writer tore G+ a new one for the banning of business pages. Sometimes we forget that ripping into people doesn't make them work faster, and that many of the services we complain about are FREE to use.

For all the folks building free consumer apps, keep up the good fight, and remember that harsh feedback comes from super passionate users that want to see your product improve.

Romney is the Gordon Gekko candidate of 2012. The target of his wrecking ball is no longer American businesses. This time it is the US, The only force large enough to stem the tide against global fascism.

The multinational corporations that are busy dismantling the US and selling off the pieces to China have a new pitchman in Romney. His candidacy is nothing more than another ad campaign conceived in hell and foisted on the American people.

The saddest part of this story is that no elected Democrat would dare point these facts out for fear that there own corporate ad dollars will dry up for this years campaign. Clinton made sure of that.

All hail the Bill Clinton for getting into bed with these slimy corporatists forever dragging the Democratic Party far too rightward. Then in a last great FU to the American people he handed the entire news media over to the multinational corporations by allowing all this media consolidation. Now even the truth be damned, because it interferes with parasitic relationship of the plutocracy with the common person.

Industry is poisoning our air and water while the national press looks the other way. Can not piss off the advertisers.

The largest growth in American manufacturing are for products that are designed to kill people, the so called weapons of mass destruction. Hey Saddam, I found them. They are being manufactured in many if not most congressional districts in America.

Romney learned early that there is no money to be made on money flowing from the top to the bottom rungs of society. There is money to be made from skimming a bit off every transaction that robs from America's common spaces and transfers them to privatization, read corporations. He is the corporatists that wins. He is the guy who can sleep at night despite who got hurt on the way to the bank.

Have you seen the press about Pogoplug? Backup, streaming, sharing (photos, music, video, movies, documents, etc.), remote printing. Pogoplug is billed as your own personal cloud service.

Starting last month, they have a program that requires no hardware. It costs $29 for a lifetime subscription. You install it on all your computers and select the folders you want to stream, access, or share on the Internet. They offer free iPod and Android apps in the respective markets. There is a even a procedure to install on Ubuntu and share files to it.

I know a podcaster who uses it to co-locate backups with his buddy.

I think that this program will replace many of the cloud services that people are paying each month for. Flickr gone. Amazon Cloud Drive gone. Carbonite gone. Music streaming services gone.
