I know I'm not alone in a mild feeling of panic at the news that Google Reader is being shut down in a few months. Feedly is throwing 503 errors at this moment so they must be getting a wave of desperate Reader refugees.
Saw this on Netflix Instant a couple nights ago. Great characters and unusual story arc for a serial killer thriller. I really liked it, but it's definitely not a "feel-good" movie. It's also based on real events.
I think there are a lot of Korean movies like this where the sheer injustice and hopeless downward spiral portrayed is so relentless. When I was younger, I thought that Koreans just loved a good 'tragedy' (for 'ah, at least my life isn't as bad as that' escapism) but I think it's actually more complicated than that.
