Anybody notice possible demon tournament since Byzel got invaded by the squid girl and four armed giant commandments?

Also finally got the name of one of my favorite commandments, Merascylla. Noticed she engaged in dialogue with Zeldris often, might imply she's one of the stronger ones.

This chapter explains why Hakuryuu had the testicular fortitude to go and just directly assault and take over Rakushou. He had nothing to fear with Sinbad backing him up, and Sinbad gets the elimination of Al Thamen's head in return of backing up Hakuryuu.

He probably had this plan set-up with Sinbad as long ago as the Magnostadt arc when he and Judar were collecting Black Rukh.

Also I noticed towards the end where it seemed like Hakuryuu was going emotionally motivated, it showed he was thinking of Judar, Aladdin, Alibaba, and what I assume is an image of his mom before she became what we know now. There are no signs of him thinking about Hakuei and Morgiana, which is a nice touch in showing his state of mind and how he is really sticking to his current convictions.

For the longest time now, I've been pretty convinced that the organization V has some very strong connections with the CCG (if not the CCG is simply their puppet establishment). Keep in mind how Aogiri Tree's objective mentioned in part one was to "smoke out a liar," (and assuming they're naturally enemies with V) it's not farfetched to assume they're calling out CCG as the liars.

I haven't seen much talk on this kind of idea, but I'm sure there's other people that reached this conclusion like me.

The issue I can see with casting an African Human Torch is not solely on the fact that he's a different ethnicity. Johnny and Susan have always been known for their brother/sister relationship, and chances are this aspect is also changed as a result of the casting choice. As somebody mentioned, this is quite different than changing Nick Fury's skin color and involves a whole chain of changes to the lore.

I would say people on BOTH sides of the argument really seem to be blinded by this whole "race" issue to see what the real issue might be.

This chapter got me even more excited about the one fight I'm really looking forward to and have been for a while, Meliodas vs Zeldris. I can only imagine the emotion that will come from both sides as well as the powers they show off.

Also loved the panel that included Galan with all the Commandments about them. They were all ready to kill on sight until Galan stopped them.

I must say, Uta has been one of my favorite characters in the series, if only for how controversial he's been among the fanbase :).

Will be interesting to see if Kougyoku's confrontation with Hakuryuu happens. In the past, there really wasn't much connection between the characters. But given Hakuryuu's connections with Judar and Alibaba now, we'll see if she really shows her fighting spirit for the first time in this fight (which would also be kind of cute with how she thinks of Alibaba).

I'm also calling it probably a 50/50 chance that Sinbad would utilize Kougyoku as his "agent" in the confusion of this fight. I'm not sure he would consider Hakuryuu an ally, but he would definitely see him as somebody that shares similar interests.

Having been through both perspectives, I can say that I don't blame the school for its actions and I would probably even do the same if I were in that position.

Some of y'all may be a bit young to consider this, but try suspending whatever prior knowledge you have of this situation and its connection to anime. Also consider the emphasis on accountability and standards held throughout our society. You see one of the kids YOU are responsible for writing a list full of other kids' names you're responsible for with the word "Death" on it. Now the worst case scenario occurs and something does happens to one of those kids who had their name written down. What do you think it going to happen to you then?

Now let us assume we do have the knowledge of what a "Death Note" is. What if Little Billy figures out that what he's doing is not working as intended (if he believes it) or it's not satisfying his needs (emotional release and comfort). What happens if he decides he has to go a step further to meet the needs writing that note was providing him? By then, it would be too late and I don't think I need to explain what would happen to your job and any career you hope of having in the future after that.

Something to keep in mind with this chapter about Galan. Chances are this won't be the only fight we'll see him in, as his power stat is stuck at 0 for now. Meaning that he probably has some nasty abilities saved up for when he gets that power back. We also have no idea at this point how high that stat is supposed to be. We can only assume his strength and spirit stats are on average 10,000 each, possibly strength being significantly higher.

I thought it kind of makes sense for another villainous guild to show up. I thought a while back that there wouldn't be much to the arc where they finally confront Zeref if there wasn't anything before him to stand as an obstacle for the group. Would be a bit weird to see all these characters get stronger after so much time, only to be shown off for Zeref and E.N.D.

The only issue with this is to see how well this Avatar guild actually fills up the role. I definitely got a strangely occult vibe from them in this chapter, as in this group might be more directly influenced by Zeref himself.
