Are You Developing Gum Disease? Take our Quiz to Find Out
Gum disease is a serious oral health issue that can result in tooth loss and bone deterioration. In some instances, it can even lead to the development of other serious health issues throughout your body. For these reasons, it’s crucial that you receive the necessary periodontal treatment to restore healthy gums before your gum disease reaches a more advanced stage.

We’ve created a quiz to help you determine whether you may be suffering from gum disease. We encourage you to click on the link below to take our quiz and find out whether you may need to visit our office for a periodontal evaluation.

The best way to maintain healthy gums is to maintain good at-home oral hygiene practices consisting of brushing at least twice a day and flossing at least once a day. In addition, you should visit our dental office twice a year for your regularly scheduled checkups and cleanings. During these visits, our hygienist will remove any plaque and tartar that has built up on your teeth, and our dentists will evaluate the health of your teeth and gums to detect tooth decay or gum disease in their earliest stages.

Have you ever had gum disease? What were your warning signs? What treatment options did your dentist recommend? Please share your experiences in the comments section below.
