I was rewatching the Last Jedi tonight and noticed Snokes’ fingers. They are pointed like Dryden Vos. Plus they both have a head injury.

Is it possible that Dryden Vos some how survived and became Snoke? Even picked up Darth Maul as an apprentice when the Emperor took on Darth Maul?

I love Star Wars but haven’t read much of the novels, so not sure if Snoke’s history is ever defined, but it seemed an interesting thought based on seeing Snoke’s hand...

I have a quick question from our last game. If a character shoots a shotgun into close combat, does it follow the same rules as any other gun? In real life, it seems like the spread on a shotgun would suggest both people in close combat are hit, but maybe this is overthinking the rules and bringing too much be verisimilitude into the game.

FYI... In the game I just made the call to use normal gun rules for shooting into melee combat.

I finally started The Flood with my group last night. One of my players set up some awesome bennies using painted spent brass and some aluminum revolver chambers he made himself. They were beautiful and definitely added to the Wild West feel of the game.

I'm still a fairly new GM for Savage Worlds. My group is playing in the Last Parsec setting and one of my players is playing a hacker using the rules on page 27 of the sci-fi handbook. He also had a Cyberjack installed (page 30 sci-fi). The group felt the +4 was over powered as the player basically jacks in and controls the environment using the +4 excessively. For example, he used the Cyber jack (+4) to pull security feed, the locked down doors and opened other, then killed the lights, then jetted the air/environment by opening docking hatches. Basically the discussion at the table that the Cyberjack was only for breaking into the system and all of the other activities would be other skills (investigation to get security feed, lock picking or repair to trigger the doors, etc). Honestly, the whole hacking and following discussion bogged down the whole game. I definitely don't want to go to something more complex like Interface Zero, but I would like so advice from more experienced GMs on how they would handle hacking to keep the game fast, furious, and fun, but still allow the hacking character to be effective and shine on occasion.
