I am curious about how this applies to the newer responsive ads? I have changed all of my ads on http://thepersonalpage.com to responsive. This means that my ads may be 100% wide on the page or they may be 300 by 300 square, or they may even be small 300 by about 70 (just a guestimate).  Furthermore, I noticed that some commentators here seemed to think that the ad-targeting feature decreased their Adsense revenue. I cannot say with any certainty (because Google keeps tight lipped about such things - leaving us all guessing) but common logic leads me  to think that if your revenue dropped, it COULD be (and I stress the COULD) - it COULD be that the sales team looked at your website and decided that they believed they should be charging their customers less. Now Ia m NOT saying that there is anything wrong with your website(s) - I am only saying that if your revenue has dropped after using this feature that is something you might want to consider looking into.

The fact of the matter is that -> the only way Adsense can stay profitable for ALL of us is if Google does a good job of sending qualified traffic to their customers.

Trust me - Adwords can get expensive fast, so the customer is expecting the absolute best service  for their money  - otherwise they could go to a competitor. So - if Google starts losing Customers, we stop getting paid for running the ads. And I happen to like the extra money that I make with Google Adsense. It took me a  while to start making any money with it but after much hard work - it is now a steady stream of extra revenue!

This video HAS been edited. that is obvious because whoever put it together placed cut-aways and went back and specifically honed in on the part with the "Ghost" image.Ghost image? Yes - it looks just like teh hundreds of ghost images i've witnessed before on video tapes that have been recorded over and over and over. You see video tapes use a magnetic "tape" to store information. In the case of this that information is video and I would put money on it that we are talking about analog video and and not digital. If you are not familiar with those terms then think about the difference between your new flat-screen TV set versus the old CRT "Picture Tube" set that we were all forced to watch to for YEARS because the electronics media industry had SO much tied up in analog that they forced us to keep watching low resolution television about 30 years or so longer than what was necessary.(But that is another Geek-Nerd rant altogether!) My point here is that video tapes made shotty vids to start with; PLUS whenever you "recorded over a previous video that quality got even worse because there would be a Ghost image left on that tape. This type of "ghost image," however, has nothing at all to do with supernatural ectoplasms n such. The "Ghosts" left on THIS video-tape are magnetic in nature. The brownish-red color of " the tapes is made of ferrous "iron" material which gives it magnetic properties - specifically this material makes it so that different parts of the tape can be magnetized positive or negative and at different strengths. This creates Patterns of magnetic pulses that are "recording." those "recordings" are representations of video, audio and other data. A simple way to illustrate this concept is with the alphabet and written language. We all know that the letter a is just a symbol but because we all agree to a protocol (rules) that say the letter makes the "A-sound" that symbol can be stored and reused again and again by others as long as they know the protocol and format and how to properly interpret it. Fundamentally a video tape does the exact same thing, just much faster and it uses electro-magnetic pulses to store the information instead of a pen or pencil. When it is time to "read that data, the process is done in reverse using what is known as a "read head" ( "remember the 4 head VHS player") - to "read" the patterns on the tape -- applying rules to the pattern of tiny , formatted magnetic spots found on the tape; passing that information further along a series of digital pathways and through chips and logic logic gates until the those magnetic pulses are turned back into something that at least resembles the original closely enough that everyone can understand it. -- SO WHAT'S THAT GOT TO DO WITH GHOST IMAGES? WELL ITS SIMPLE REALLY - THE MAGNETIC PULSES FROM THE PRECIOUS RECORDING ARE STILL ON THE TAPE. WHEN YOU RECORD OVER A TAPE , THE WRITE HEAD IS OFTEN TOO WEAK TO COMPLETELY WRITE OVER THE PREVIOUS RECORDING. THE IDEA HERE IS THAT THE READ HEAD WILL ONLY BE SENSITIVE ENOUGH TO READ THE STRONGER PULSES- IGNORING THE WEAKER PULSES. So what happens is you get left over video on the tape and depending on how sensitive the read head is - you may also see light "Ghost" images from the previous video." Eventually all the leftover "GHOST" data ca start to seriously degrade the quality of the tape. The fact that security videos are used over and over, and the fact many places are still using their OLD video cams and the fact that the "ghost" here is about the same size and shape as the guy in the video - i'm betting on this "ghost" being nothing more than and old , noisy video tape." Of-course I am assuming that this video was analog, and I did not even say much about the fact it looks edited.
