This was my first time in the balcony. LOVED IT!! I have never had a bad experience at the Ritz Drafthouse. The staff is super cool and makes sure the movie experience is quiet and enjoyable. Prices are a bit high, but they have a pretty good selection of 'bar food' to munch on while watching the movie.

My favorite place to see a movie is Alamo, and my favorite Alamo is the Ritz. Great atmosphere before the movie and it's always fun to exit a movie and be thrown into the craziness of sixth street. Great food and drinks, the usual at Alamo theaters. This Alamo is host to a lot of Alamo's special events, such as quote alongs and hobbit feasts.

My favorite Alamo drafthouse. In such a fun area! Only downside is parking, which is nearly impossible in sixth street. Recommend walking or public transportation.

Classic pre-war Ritz theater, with excellent food and drink service during you picture.

I knew they had a "no talking" policy, but I didn't realize how seriously they took it. I have a mild form of narcolepsy and sometimes have trouble staying awake in dark places (movie/live theaters). My husband knows that this is embarrassing for me, so he gently nudges me and quietly tells me "wake up". Tonight we drove about 3 hours to see " Hateful Eight" in 70 mm. I was exhausted from the drive and my husband had to " wake me up" twice at the beginning of the movie. About 45 minutes after the last time he said anything to me, someone who worked at the theater came by and told him they had complaints about him talking, and we would have leave if he contued. After that neither of us felt we could reactto the movie at all. Our experience was RUINED. We will never come to this theatre again!

Only two screens at this cineplex, but what a treat to be able to see a movie right downtown. They really can pick some great flicks to screen, too. Same great food and beverages as any ADH.

Austin original, good food and drinks. Location is a little more cramped than their newer facilities but you can't beat having a theater on 6th street.

I really didn't like anything about this place. Dry comedy, not entertaining, had to fake laugh along with the rest of the patrons. Not to mention if you order a shot and a beer, youre automatically cut off.
