Phenomenal. .. it's rare to get great food and great service in a Indian restaurant. .. this place exceeded my wildest dreams... the food was off the chain and the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and worked with my family to make our dietary issues a non-issue... gluten and dairy allergies. so happy so worth the money... In the immortal words of the governator "I'll be back" If your into good food and good service and a pleasant atmosphere check it out... I'd actually like to give it 6 stars

We stopped their last week on our trip to Milwaukee. We really didn't had time to enjoy their dinner menu but they had some authentic food items ( choyala and dry chicken chilli) which was awesome. Great people and good customer service. I am neplese myself and i recognize the authentic taste of Nepal when i taste one, this was one of the few places in USA that made me nostalgic. Pratik

I have been to the Taste of Himalayas many times. Food is consistently excellent,...fresh authentic flavors. Service is slow but gives you more time to enjoy the dining experience. Order a variety and share.

Staff could not be nicer or more attentive. Nice selection of beers and the food is reasonably priced and outstanding in flavor. Our family has actually been to the Himalayas and delighted a the authenticity of the fare. However, BEWARE - if you request 'hot and spicy' they will gladly accommodate.... Great experience, better value...

I have been here twice now, once for dinner and once for the lunch buffet. Both times the food was excellent, and the service very attentive and friendly. I definitely plan to go back many more times!

This place surprised me. We have never been to a restaurant that served Nepalese or Indian food, so this was a first and it was a delightful experience! We went for the lunch buffet. It wasn't crowded, maybe 4 other tables being served at the time. Service was excellent. Prompt, friendly, and water kept full. I follow a vegan diet and the staff was very helpful with informing me about what each dish contained. Out of their buffet that contained around 7 main dishes, 3 of them were vegan, which was really great for me. My partner, non-vegan, really enjoyed the other meat dishes as well. When you go to the buffet they also serve you naan bread and a chicken platter (I forget the authentic name for the dish). Dessert is with the buffet as well, but we were too stuffed after two plates. The price is roughly fair. It was around $24 for two people. For me this is definitely too expensive to go frequently, but I will visit again on special occasions, because I loved it so much. Definitely try this place out!
