Here's the TEDx talk I did on December 1st at Barnard College. I was privileged to be among a group of 10 women, each of whom told a story relative to one of 10 themes, or tenets of leadership. My theme was "advocacy". The other themes are outlined here: http://www.tedxbarnardcollegewomen.com
In each case, the speaker didn't necessarily address the topic explicitly, but told a personal story that somehow embodied that theme for her.
This was a hard thing for me to do because I started by talking about something painful. Generally, the talk is about advocating for being human, and bringing one's humanity to solving problems with data.
