Salute to Service Dog Namesake Petty Officer 3rd Class Nathan Bruckenthal, USCG--VMF announces the the permanent placement of service dog Nathan with Army combat veteran John Williams. Officially partnered on July 16, this public announcement coincides with the U.S. Coast Guard’s birthday as a final remembrance of service dog Nathan's namesake. Like Petty Officer Bruckenthal, service dog Nathan is semper paratus (always ready) as he moves forward to make a real difference in the life of his veteran partner. www.vetsfwd.org
