Very unique pyramid shaped hotel located on the far ended of the strip. Built in the 1990's, rooms are dated but did sleep very well do to sound proofing. Shower is very nice. Casino is adequate. Offers great shows, I saw blue man, Titanic exhibition and Bodies exhibition. All were phenomenal!! Check in and check out a breeze, was even allowed to check in early for $20. I stayed in room 27099 facing the strip, the view was amazing. My first trip to Vegas and all was amazing. Probably will stay at Caesars or the Venetian next trip but Luxor was okay for first time.

Awful. Absolutely terrible employees and managers. I arrived at roughly 11:10pm and after no clear direction at the front entrance as to where to check in, I did the logical and called for help since there were no employees around. I was first told to keep walking to my right when facing the entrance by the first representative. After walking 18 minutes into a dead end with no signs or employees to ask I called the main number back. This time I had a new representative who directed me another way to check in and ask for a manager. Walking back a different direction and finally getting to the check in I was prompted to ask for a manager (because the line to check in was roughly 75+ people with only 5 people working the front desk) after speaking to the manager like I was informed to he just stated " nothing I can do, go stand in that line" in awe I called for a third time to see if I could speak to someone with half a brain and when I got a " higher up" on the phone he said the same " nothing I can do, get in the line with the other people". If that whole experience assent enough, I get to my room and my TV didn't work so I called down and spoke to Kim, about 25 minutes later a maintenance guy showed up, apparently a cable was disconnected from the back of the TV and a battery from the remote. Bottom line.. Don't stay here unless you would like to waste $150+ a night, you would get better service at a motel 6 or even on the streets of Vegas than staying here, oh and by the way management still has not done anything about the wrong room and has not even apologized, stay somewhere else, spend the extra $30 and go to a real hotel/casino..

Great hotel, great pool!!! Honestly no major problems except, the slanted windows (since its a pyramid) increases sun exposure in the room, which in vegas is extremely hot! Otherwise it is clean, pool is great, room is nice, casino is good. If i could give it 4.5 stars i would.

I arrived with a bit of fear because of a couple of bad reviews but it was just perfect. I picked this hotel because i was attending a concert at the House of blues and this hotel was close and very cheap in comparision with others in the area. We arrived too early but the hotel offered us an early check in for a small fee. The hotel is very nice, loved the pyramid and Egypt figures. The lobby smell so well. We had bad luck with the weather, but this hotel is connected indoor with shops, restaurants etc we could walk to the House of Blues. Breakfast was not included but there are many good options around. You don't need to call a taxi, there are just at the door, this was very useful for us.

Love the slanted walls. Fun atmosphere with great vibes. The tub in the room next to the window is to cool. Overall very good time.

An Egyptian themed casino in the desert? Well, this is Vegas and we are in a desert so why not... The resort is well maintained with large swimming pool, beautiful gardens and private promenade. Lots of helpful staff on site. A pretty good list of dining options to include the excellent Burger Bar by Hubert Keller. Easy access to the shops at Mandalay Bay. Their monorail provides quick transportation to both Excalibur and Mandalay Bay resorts. Sadly, they now charge for parking which will discourage locals like me from visiting.

The worst employers ever! This company will work you down to the bone with no appreciation for your hard work!..how does this company expects their employees to remain loyal and work hard when they cannot retain or develop their talent! When issues come about I go to HR and to my surprise you have to make an appointment to speak to someone relating to work issues?!?!..my union better step up cause this bullshit has been going on for too long!!!

My fiance and I stayed at the Luxor last weekend and had an amazing time! The check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly. I wasn't impressed by the "resort fee" but apparently that's standard. Our room smelled a little funny when we got in and I then found water dripping inside from the window. Vegas had just experienced a torrential downpour and flooding so I guess some water coming in can be expected. I called the front desk and told them about the water coming in and then offered to upgrade us to a room in the tower right away. I was very impressed with how they handles the situation. The rooms were nice, all the staff was friendly, the food was great, all in all it was a great stay!
