The look of this place... awesome. Room was nice enough and the casino was small, but we found everything we needed there. Restaurants we didn't try because they were quite expensive, but the neighbouring hotels had some good value ones. Pool was also nice, although one day they had "Live Entertainment Tax" applied to the prices and the DJ didn't even play anywhere near our pool.

WORST Makeup I have ever had. After my 135 dollar makeup application I found myself scrubbing my face, an hour before my wedding, trying desperately to get it all off. A little background, I am a red head and my complexion is the color of milk, something I didn't realize was a bad thing until I sat down with their make-up staff. The color of powder she forced on me despite my numerous and firm objections was more suited to an Indian beauty. There was a very clear and distinct line on my neck where the powder ended. When I smiled dark creased formed around my mouth and I clashed with my own shoulder. I asked for light purple shadow but was told smokey eyes were for weddings and received thick black smears around my eyes. The fake eye lashes, that were supposed to be included but they charged extra for, came unglued in the short walk back up to my hotel room. When I phoned down to tell them that I was unsatisfied and asked if someone else could fix my makeup I was told there was nothing they could do. When I asked if I could at least get a dab of eyelash glue so I could fix them myself, I was put on hold and forgotten about.

Other than the stale cigarette smell in the main lobby, the rooms where nice, beds were comfortable. I stayed in the West tower, which is best if you want poolside and spa, lots of walking for good exercise. Stayed 1 week for a conference, also my first time in Las Vegas. Food was awesome, EVERYONE was so nice!

Stayed at the Luxor for 5 nights and it was amazing!! We stayed in a pyramid room and was super nice for the deal we got! Plus it's really cool sleeping and partying in a pyramid! Had a really great time. Ate at Tacos & Tequila one night and we were in and out in 30 minutes or so and the food and drinks are amazing! Then later that night we saw Criss Angel and was totally blown away, such an amazing show and performer, plus a beautiful theater right in the Luxor. Definitely recommend staying at the Luxor!! Great price, even better hotel! Will for sure be staying here again!

Experience was uninspired at best. We arrived early at one of the tower drop offs and were told we could check in early for a fee. The front desk never offered to hold our bags, suggested a restaurant or even offered to help in any way. She seemed border line angry/bored. We went over to another desk and they offered to page bell services to hold our bags. 10 minutes later no bell services and then we were told by the only helpful person so far he worked for the airport and not Luxor. So, I had back to the front desk to wait while 2 employees finished their conversation regarding their lunch order and asked them to page Bell Services. When we did finally check in it was fine. I left my phone charger there and after reporting a day later I was told it was not located. So either it was never looked for, housekeeping took it or it was thrown out. Room was fine. Will never stay at the Luxor again...it must to a terrible organization to work for and I can't support that. PLENTY of other places to stay.

Honestly not bad at all. The room was clean. Sure you can tell the furniture is a little old but it just adds more of that ancient feeling lol specially with all the hyrogliphics (im sure i spelled that wrong). Very minor issue with the toilet flushing (took at least 3 flushes) but besides that the experience were great. the design of the building is so amazing its one of a kind. its perfect for people on a budget. lots of entertaining shows and exhibits. no tub, just large walk-in shower. it was great

Disgusting ..... Reminded me of a Hotel 8. There is a reason why the rates are low. The entire resort/casino had a repulsive odor (not smoke smell) that smelt like sour rotten food. I stayed in the pyramid on the south side. The rooms need some serious maintenance. The A/C unit was noisy and made the room smell like a cellar; the lighting is poor and hummed; the television picture was fuzzy with scanning lines and had a whopping 15 channels, 5 of them being Luxor's programming. The halls had trash everywhere and the elevators are filthy, with grime all over the walls and one of them had gum stuck to the inside of it. I'm not sure that they clean anything besides the rooms (and barely at that). The only decent part was the bathroom. It was clean, with granite and tile, and a nice oversized shower. The casino is harder to navigate than the others. Everything is crammed together with no signage differentiating the games, or their denominations. As I was playing "The Game of Life" slot, the machine suddenly displayed an error message and would not allow me to collect my money. I pressed the service button and no one showed to offer customer service. After waiting at the machine, unable to play, for 45 minutes it mysteriously started working again. No thank you. The other casinos are a much more pleasant experience. If you are going to stay on the strip, I would recommend one of the classier resorts, or any other hotel for that matter. You're probably going to pay a higher room rate, but you get what you pay for. Two thumbs down Luxor... 😦

Found roaches in the bathroom of our hotel room. Immediately told management and he told us he couldn't do anything but give us a different room. Like really? If one room has a roach... I'm sure they all do!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN...would not recommend to ANYONE. Gross...
