MSPA was originally formed to assist with revitalization efforts in Historic Downtown Parkville following the 1993 flood. The first Parkville Microbrew Fest was April 2004. The festival is MSPA biggest fundraiser and funds the annual July 4 Celebration, Christmas on the River and other community events and festivals.
