Fantasy fans will be happy to discover the newly-released 5th book of the Seashell Archives collection by Elizabeth Ann Scarborough. Elizabeth Ann has not lost her touch for bringing her readers a huge dose of tongue-in-cheek humor, the kind where you stop and reread the lines to be sure the author really did say that! Even though it's part of a series, this book is a perfectly legitimate beginning for a new reader, soon to be a fan, of this wonderful author. {Book 6 is on its way!}

** Author Tamara Lowery has a taste for roughness in this 5th in the Waves of Darkness series - the saga of the pirate turned vampire Viktor Brandewyne. If you've followed the series, Viktor is venturing farther afield in his mission to visit the seven Sisters of Power and continue to exist. If you're a vampire/pirate/mythical fan, this series is for you!

http://gypsyshadow.com/TamaraLowery.html#Dodo

Viktor Brandewyne finds himself tasked with finding the most flighty of the Sisters of Power. He tracks her from New England to the ends of the earth. She sets him the task of retrieving three things as the price for a portion of her magic: a dragon's egg, a dodo's egg, and a drop of blood from the Daughter of the Dragon, one of the few beings capable of killing him.

Lady Carpathia has her own agenda concerning Viktor. Though she comes to realize just how dangerous he is, she still hopes to seduce and use him to overthrow her master before she ultimately destroys the pirate-turned-vampire.

Fraught with danger, Viktor's chances of surviving this quest are almost as slim as those of him completing it. How can he acquire the eggs of a mythical beast or of a creature that has been extinct for nearly a century?

S. R. Jaborsky spins this tale, the first in the Seron Ti series (the second, Ti Hypershear will be released in the fall of 2016), by taking the reader back in time to the 1940s, the time of World War II, and forward in evolution to a race whose development has paralleled Earth's humans in many ways. If you like Sci-Fi, venture into this one!

Ti by S. R. Jaborsky http://gypsyshadow.com/SRJaborsky.html#Ti

Seron Ti’s military prowess was equaled only by her achievements made in the areas of science. However, her Travels for the advancement of The Chronicals of Dahr and the veneration of All were unsurpassed by any other Dahren Traveler. On this day she was to be celebrated by the Encyclopedians and indeed the entire Citizenry. But Seron held a secret. She must openly defy the Encyclopedians and institute chaos in the Hall. And she must escape Dahr.

Blain had been through hell. Employed by Worldwide Newsgroup, he was recovering at home from injuries while covering one of the damned wars. He glanced at his Pulitzer Medal for Journalism. Did it really mean anything? He was cynical and burned out. He didn’t know that 3 golden discs were about to lead to the most incredible journey of his life. And he would be unable to report it to anyone.
