Guilty, until you prove otherwise. One my way out the store today, I politely refused to show my receipt with a simple "No, thank you". As a customer, that is well within my rights to do so. I do not appreciate being treating like a criminal...especially when the person ahead of me, did not have to provide a receipt. The checker demanded that I show it, as another customer heckled me and demanded the same. I did not comply, and proceeded to leave the store (again, that is my right). The receipt checker, made a statement that "Karma was going to get him (me)". This was rude and uncalled for, as I was polite in my refusal. I asked to speak to a manager, to clarify the issue. An assistant service manager stated that it was their policy/right to check my belongings, to ensure that I paid for them. According to him, this was justified as the items (that were already I paid for), still pertained to walmart, as I was still in the store. This of course, is absolutely false, and the policy should be examined, if that is indeed the case. A manager was brought into the discussion, but clarity on the subject was not provided. To their credit, the manager did state that the issue would be resolved, and that the checker would be removed from checking receipts. I am sorry that we live in a society were people steal, and I understand the economic impact that this creates for the store. However, this does not justify treating all of your customers like shoplifters, just because there are a few bad apples in the bunch. If you wish to continue to check receipts, that's fine; but proper training needs to be set for all those who are involved in the process. Along with a clear notice to the customers, as they enter the store. At which point, they can choose whether or not to shop there and comply with the policy.

You may "Save money, Live better" by going to Walmart, but when it comes to my most recent visit to this particular location, you may want to think different. Something along the lines of "You can not only 'save money, live better,' but also 'save time, be A WHOLE LOT HAPPIER' by going elsewhere." May I recommend either the Target and Safeway stores near Highway 50 and 47th avenue, or my favorite for EVERYTHING when it comes to groceries, the King Soopers (Colorado's Kroger company affiliate) off of County Road 34 and 11th avenue (Just outside the University of Northern Colorado Campus)." Seriously, I wasted over an hour at this store, partly on associates' (or LACK THEREOF) to help me locate two things that were apparently sold out that EVERY SINGLE WALMART IN THE WORLD IS SUPPOSED TO CARRY: a bottle of correction fluid (which normal stores carry in the office and school supplies department, next to the pens and pencils) and packages of 3M brand Lens and Electronics cloths (which should imply that they would be available in BOTH the Vision Center and Electronics departments). Another part of that same hour I wasted was taking a total of 15 items, plus coupons to one of the ALMOST NEVER PROPERLY FUNCTIONING AND ALWAYS SLOW self checkouts (blame crappy Walmart-initiated firmware on this for ruining what could have been a great piece of retail technology), plus the attendant's skill (or LACK THEREOF) to operate these (should consider switching from the current NCR "Fastlane" technology to similar to what the King Soopers uses - Fujitsu "U-scan"). I am making a suggestion that for management (or lack thereof) to improve how they oversee the operations of their own store by hiring more associates as well as better training for all associates on EVERYTHING. With all the above, I highly urge to reconsider visiting another Walmart (the store in Northern Greeley off of 10th Street between 47th avenue and 48th avenue may be a better suit), or, as I mentioned earlier, Target, Safeway, or King Soopers for better EVERYTHING, from groceries (especially for produce, King Soopers is the best, whereas I've seen plastic fruit that looks more appetizing than the crap that Walmart carries), and service (almost NEVER a greeting from an associate at this Walmart, not even a "people greeter," but ALWAYS an offer to help find something at the other three (got it alot from the King Soopers I visited before I visited this Walmart).

I refuse to go back to this store after the last incident. I went to the cigarette line to buy smokes and $50.00 worth of other stuff. I had a coupon that I printed off the internet for a Buy the OFF clip on starter kit and get a free refill-up to $5.00 value. The value ended up being $3.87-the cost for the refill. The cigarette line is always very long because you must get in that one for cigarettes. So I gave the cashier the coupon at which time she started giving me sideways glances and other weird looks, while scrutinizing my coupon like I was trying to pass a counterfeit hundred dollar bill. She then called over her boss, or the CSR and she did the same thing-looking at the coupon then at me like I am some kind of criminal. This went on for 10 minutes-a very embarassing 10 minutes with a line of other shoppers behind me. They finally let me use the coupon at which point I asked what the problem was. She responded in a very snooty tone of voice "We've been getting a lot of fake coupons." If they had said this to begin with it maybe wouldnt' have been so bad. I just feel like I got treated very badly-and like a criminal for trying to use a $3.00 coupon. I also agree with swimchick and shannonl on the other reviews listed here, as far as racial relations go here. The store is always filthy dirty too and usually not stocked very well.

This Walmart in Greeley, Colo. is very dirty. The parking lot is one of the dirtiest I have ever seen. I always will prefer the Walmart on 47th ave.

I just got back from Wal-Mart after returning an item. Guess what it was! It was one of those sweeper things with brushes on the bottom that acts kinda like a vacuum. Guess why I returned it! Because when I got home and opened it up, it had already been opened, used, and broken! It was filthy and filled with someone else's dirt. Not only that, but it didn't work at all! I don't know how something like this gets overlooked, but I pulled it right off the shelf where it had been stocked in front of two other presumably new units. When I pay full price for an item in a retail store, I expect it to be unused and even unopened. Otherwise, I might as well just go to a thrift store where I can at least pull it off the shelf and make sure it still works.

Respect for your vehicle? I think not. I went to have tires put on my boyfriend's car. There was only one technician in the shop working and the other two employees had to be found by the tech. They took forever and had a bad attitude. After the tires were put on they took a joyride in his car around the parking lot when they thought we weren't looking. We had to take it to another walmart the following day to have it re-alligned because it was pulling horribly.
