When I first saw initial screenshots of #TheWonderful101, I wasn't interested.  Some time later, a long trailer was released, and I quickly became interested.  I tried out the demo, and...it was confusing and didn't really interest me any more.  (Although I still really liked the long trailer.)

Fast-forward some months, and I saw a recent review that basically said to skip the demo and go straight into the game.  The advice sound illogical, but I decided to go ahead and give it a try.

The verdict?  I'm really enjoying The Wonderful 101!

The $15 price tag won't be for everyone for #NESRemix , but I'm enjoying it.

While children work on their lists for Santa, I've put together a wish list for #Nintendo.  Some items Nintendo might already be working on (such as using the Gamepad on Wii games).  Others likely they wouldn't bother with (Super Game Boy/Game Boy Player-like add-on for the Wii U).

Glad to see Toon Link appears again in the upcoming Smash Brothers.  Now if they'd give a Toon Zelda/Tetra pair (like Zelda/Sheik), that'd be perfect.

Image I put together from two Super Mario 3D World screenshots. Will be my desktop wallpaper at work for a week.

I'm finding the Wii U Gamepad to be the most comfortable experience for reading online articles.  Can't use my PC from my reclining chair, and my tablet's heavier and less easy to hold than the Gamepad.  Plus the Gamepad's stylus is more prcise and responsive.  And the circle pads are nice and precise for scrolling and resizing.

Glad to see Nintendo's getting closer to unifying things between the Wii U and 3DS.  What I'd like to see next is unified Virtual Console.  If a game is available on both systems, let me buy once, play on both.  If I already bought a game on both system, credit my eShop account the lesser price I paid for one of the two.  Allow the 3DS and Wii U to "sync" game save data.  I'd love to transfer my Earthbound saved game to the 3DS, play on the go, then transfer the save back to the Wii U for playing on the gamepad at home.

Syncing issues should be easy to avoid, as well.  If, for example, I sync my Earthbound save from the Wii U to the 3DS, then I try to play Earthbound on the Wii U, it can prompt me that I haven't synced from the 3DS back to the Wii U, giving me the option to do so before playing on the Wii U, or to continue playing on the Wii U without syncing knowing that some gameplay data may be lost (since the 3DS and Wii U saves will be out of sync).

Make it happen, Nintendo!

So #Nintendo finally released #Earthbound for the #WiiU #VirtualConsole right before I'll be away from home for the weekend...  Well, I'm not complaining.

I do wish Nintendo would bring the other Mother series games, as Earthboard is Mother II in Japan, and there are -- to my knowledge -- three games total in the series.  I don't know if the stories relate between the games, though.  My understanding is the first game has an official English translation, and of the fan translation for game three, the project has offered that Nintendo can use their translation for free.

It'd be nice if someone at Nintendo would come out and say, "If Earthbound sells well, we may consider releasing the rest of the series on Virtual Console."
