I have all 3 of my dogs groomed at pick of the litter, and purchased 2 of the dogs from John owner of pick of the litter. Before i found this place I had a nightmare trying to get my dog groomed. My dogs always look stunning when i go to pick them up at pick of the litter I think his prices are reasonable.I have referred many people all of which have taken a do home from pick of the litter. I give this Place an A++.

This place is an absolute travesty. If it were possible to rate this with zero stars, close the business down, condemn the building, and beat John (owner) within an inch of his life; It would not be enough to make up for John's horrible treatment of their animals, or his underhanded, reprehensible business practices. I went in, and the first thing I thought: This place should be colored entirely in black and white with a puppy's red coat thrown carelessly on the floor being the only piece of color, that is how awful the conditions are.

I walked into Pick of The Litter about a month ago just to look at the cute puppies not to take one home.. Low and behold I fell in love with my Mini Dachshund Izzy! I spoke to John about the price which I thought was high went home and thought about it. I then went online and read quite a few bad reviews about John.. So I was really not into getting Izzy but it was too late I was in love.. I called John back the next day he spent a ton of time with me on the phone and even renegotiated the price. When I went in to pick up Izzy I was there for at least 1.5 hours.. He went over everything with me. It wasn't just a heres the money give me the dog. He went over her parents history, her shots, her food, what I need to do for her future care etc.. He told me if i ever need to go away bring Izzy back even if after 10 years if I decide I no longer want to keep her he will take her back. He also gave me a health guarantee which he signed. My vet tells me Izzy is in tip top shape. She's in complete heath and is doing great! John is very experienced and caring I don't know what these other people are talking about! Pricey (like any pet store) but the animals are well cared for and I am the happiest I've ever been! Thanks John!!

I bought my cockapoo for Pick of the Litter. At two years of age, he began to have seizures. Seizures are something a reputable breeder can breed out of the genetic pool. I smell a puppy mill! Beyond that, we have taken our dog there to be "humanely groomed". His last visit, he we cut so badly by the groomer that we had to take him to the vet to get a shot and medication for the wound. When we called John, the owner of the store, to tell him what happened, an argument ensued and he wound up telling my husband to "go f*ck yourself!" when my husband told him that he should pay the vet bill. I am currently taking this establishment to small claims court. I STRONGLY advise anyone thinking of buying a puppy there to avoid it completely for purchase, grooming & boarding.

WATCH OUT!!! My dog recieved the worse haircut ever!! I showed a picture of how my dogs hair cut should look and specifically asked her not to shave the dog or make him look like a poodle. The groomer shaved my dog completely down and cut the face like a poodle. Everything I asked her not to do! On top of all of this, when I arrived home, I noticed my dog had a deep cut on his belly that now need medicine 3 times a day. The nails were never cut and the ears were not even cleaned. I immediately brought him to another groomer to have his haircut fixed and the rest of his grooming completed. On top of all of this, when we called, the owner "Elizabeth" she was not apologetic and did nothing for us. Elizabeth as well of the groomer, whom I beleive was Linda, were not friendly or accommodating in any way. My dog has never come back from a groomer shaking so much and scared. I would be scared to bring my dog there again and would never NEVER reccomend this esablishment to anyone for services or for the purchase of a dog. They are far from an honorable establishment. Seems they are in it for the money, not the love of animals.

This place is very small no eye Apeal at all. But even if the owner was stoned he actually does take car of the animals and is very informative on the puppies keeps the puppy inventory low not like other places that over populate and don't care for them they have 24 7 care and I would suggest don't judge a book by its cover and he is very reasonably priced and the puppies. Come from breeders not puppy mills like most. Of the puppy stores you see so I would give them 10 stars if I could

I had been on the hunt for a chihuahua puppy for months. I went here and was surprised at the subpar conditions these poor puppies were in. The puppies were in pee and poop. They fought often with their "cage"mates. What really surprised me was that the dogs were not in real enclosures YET you cant pet them? If you truly wanted to protect the pups you would think the owners of this place would properly contain these guys. One dog was so under stimulated and clearly over confined it was eating the sheetrock right off the wall. Not to mention they have the highest prices for the lowest quality of pups I have ever seen. They tried to sell me an eight month old (fully grown clearly not 8 months old) pug for 800 dollars. From a breeder you can get an 8 week old for less than 1/2 that and theyd come with a pedigree than what this store was pedaling. The chihuahuas in this store looked pathetic. It really broke my heart. Most of their pups DO NOT fit AKC standards. Not a place I would ever buy from or recommend. STAY AWAY. RUDE STAFF OVER PRICED POOR QUALITY

Horrible place. The place smells like cigarettes and weed, the dogs that i saw were covered in their own crap, they were in horrible cages with almost no padding. I tried to have them groom my puppy, and all I got from the owner was that he didn't have a groomer like he advertises and he even cursed me out! I tried to use their bathroom, and i got yelled out. I talked to one of the employees on the side, and they said that customers aren't allowed in because there are animals living in there with newspaper! This place needs to be shut down.
