One of my favorite places in the ID. Really tasty food, a good little happy hour menu, and a great selection of Japanese whiskey. The atmosphere of this place is perfect - a neighborhood izakaya is the kind of thing you can really only appreciate in Seattle (in the US).

After doing some research, I decided to come to this establishment during my one day stopover in Seattle. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. The highlight of the meal was the chicken karaage. The plum wine went so well with the pork ramen, especially in the Seattle weather. Decor was wonderful and the waitress was the best. I will definitely come here again, every single time I visit the city.

Good japanese food in a laid back environment at decent prices. Friends had the Vegetarian Sukiyaki, and Tempura Udon. Both looked really good. I had a Bento, which was very tasty. We split the garlic gobo (burdock root), which was very good.
