One of the two best Grocery Stores in Winston Salem, and it is all about the people working there. They are some of the best employees that I have seen in any store. And to address the other complaint about the "Grocery Area Employees": I have experienced just the opposite as you. Maybe you were having a bad day as well as the employee. Why does every imperfect person think that every other person is supposed to be perfect? Go to this place and I promise you that you will not be disappointed with ANY of the employees. If you do people go to the manager, that is how it is to be solved.

Very clean and organized, and easy to navigate the parking lot, unlike pretty much every other Whole Foods, but the customer service is usually sub-par. The other day, we had to wait about 3 minutes to check out so that Randy could finish his conversation with a co-worker. When I finally asked if he was actually open, he snapped at me that it would be a minute. No, they were not discussing work. Very inconsiderate.

Small but the best freshest organics in town. I support smaller businesses.

I come here every week and the place is very clean and organized. Staff members are very helpful and friendly. They have a variety of selection of organic fruits and veggies and in my opinion are the best. Their seafood is fresh I love their farm raised salmon.

I bought a personal lubricant. Hastily put the product in my basket without reading the ingredients as I thought the store had standards. Found out otherwise. It's common knowledge and has been for years that parabens are linked to cancer. This store charged me $9.00 for 2 oz of an inferior, unhealthy product. While waiting to speak to the manager on the phone about it, I had to listen to their propaganda about how all of their health and beauty products and chosen to keep me healthy! What a joke. Has anyone else noticed how Whole Foods has become shamelessly profit-hungry? I'm sure it's not just me. It's sickening to see what they charge for some products.

Organic food labeling is not controlled in the USA - Anyone can slap one of those labels and get away with it. Whole foods is the biggest supporter of mega farms in the US. As far as this Whole Foods in Winston Salem...it is small, the parking lot is always full, and I refuse to inconvenience myself shopping there. I prefer Harris Teeter, which is down the road.

Nice selection of overpriced food - small parking lot and difficult egress - friendly employees

Very small store with a limited prepared foods section. The prepared foods looks and tastes like it is left out for days and fails to meet the Whole Food standards I've seen in Austin and Boulder. Unfortunately this is probably best/only option for organic food in Winston-Salem.
