With main influences of Linkin Park and ColdPlay combined with their love for acoustic. Mostly Commons soft melodic sounds infused with catchy beats provides a unique sound to satisfy even the most dedicated music lover.
Founded in late 2011 by Deadfish members Trevor Buckingham (vocals) and Dana Shoults (bass).The duo formed a side project to express creativity bringing “Soundwaves” to the table. After receiving positive feedback from numerous sources, they decided to complete the band bringing in longtime friend Eamon Sefton (guitars/vocals). Taylor Davis (drums) also of Deadfish, Eamon’s brother Ronan Sefton (guitars), and Mitchell Cohen (keys/samples).
While It’s members are no strangers to the local scene. Several having previously have opened for national acts such as Tribal Seeds, Passafire, Ballyhoo, and Marcy Playground. This new group of guys bring together past experiences creating a new sound for all ages to enjoy.
Mostly Commons are currently recording their first studio album of their career, combining Pop-Rock and Hip-Hop influences into a distinctive sound that should hit the shelves in late spring of 2013.
