R.I.P.All new family running it now, the nice lady that called everyone honey and her family is gone and the new staff makes the food slower and much much greasier. Back to Ambar and Sha'an I guess.

I went there last night for dinner. this was not my first time there. I always go there. I did not know that aj, maya and their mom is not there anymore. I miss them. now its all new faces. before as soon as I walked in they always greet me and my friends with big smile and hug. last night I was not greeted at all. there was old black lady in the front standing around doing nothing and did not say hi, or hello to me. she looks very rude. compare to Ms. D. always smiling and greeting us even if she was busy. but this lady was not doing anything. could have greeted me but "NO". service used to so great and friendly but now with these new ownership no good at all. food was great. server did not ask me for rice refills. I took my left over with out rice. no water refills, before aj and maya used to be on top of everything. I asked my server whats the new owner name. she said, her name is janet. who is very rude and not good personality at all. she seems to show off a lot. this was my first horrible experience with service and new owner janet. she needs to learn how to treat customers right.

I've been going to Dusmesh for years. One day, suddenly, I went in and everything was 'wrong'. I didn't recognize any of the staff, and my food was not at all the same. The menu was the same but the recipe had changed. I figured it must have been a fluke. Maybe the owners were on vacation? I came back three more times and have been equally disappointed. The 'new Dusmesh' is not that good. They used to be the best Indian in town, but now the are just OK. But, have no fear. If you miss AJ and Maya as much as I, head up to Swad Indian in North College Hill. It is their same old menu, the same staff, the same cooks, the same BYOB, the same chicken mango that will change your life, and the same service you expected when you ate at Dusmesh. Dusmesh is still OK, don't get me wrong, but why settle for that when the best Indian food in town is just a couple miles further up the road. Don't take my word for it, read all the old reviews here. It makes me sad to see that these new owners can piggyback on such an amazing history and most people will never know.

When we arrived we were promptly seated. The restaurant seemed to function for our benefit. The waitress took her time and walked us through the different foods. The waitresses seem to work together in harmony. This restaurant is a must visit. I have taken my wife to a well known restaurant on the river that sells fish. This was a terrible disappointment. I plan to make this little restaurant a regular escape for my wife and I. Well done Dusmesh!

They had no soda or lamb. Pretty upsetting because of the distance I drove. The Indian restaurant Amber up the street had it all. Very good to.

After trying the shotgun ordering approach and getting nothing I liked many years ago up in Dayton, I finally found someone to get Indian with. My cousin, a UC student, brought me here as I could get the buffet and try many things. I've got to say this went much better than my previous Indian excursion and I liked most of what I tried. I also liked that I got to try goat for the first time. It wasn't bad at all. I wish I'd gone here first, the buffet option was huge for trying new things, my water was never close to empty and the hostess was very friendly. I'll definitely swing by again.
