Visited Mohegan Sun with my girlfriend and her mother. Paid for a room and stayed overnight. When we checked in we were told that there was a breakfast buffet for only $10 per person that serves until 11:00. The next morning went down to take advantage of the buffet. I had the casino's players card, the other 2 people in my party did not. They charged me $10, but the other people in my group did not have a players card so they charged them more. When we told the host at the buffet that we were told by the front desk that we could pay $10 as hotel guests they said no, only if you have a players card. They asked if we would like to speak to a manager and we said yes. When told about this, the manager said we could pay full price now and sign up for the player's card and get the a refund afterwards. This was not a lot of money but this was ridiculous. You have a group of people spending money to stay at the hotel, that gambled and spent money in the restaurant for dinner and the casino was "nickel and diming" us on the price of the buffet. Just terrible customer relations. After being annoyed by the buffet, I went to cash in my chips. They only had one cashier open so I had to run around the casino looking for one cashier another annoyance. How could they only have one cashier open at checkout time. Just left a sour taste in my mouth.

Fantastic, beautiful place, lots of fun with areas of show, 5 star service, super hotel, totally recommended! For parents with children the place has opened nursery until 2 in the morning for children up to age 12 years, which allows parents to desplasarse in exclusived areas for adults and casinos, bars and nightclubs. We love this place after so much work is the ideal place to rest, relax and have fun.

My wife and I are planning another trip to Mohegan Sun for our anniversary, one of many. We always have a wonderful time and look forward to this yearly getaway. The staff at the hotel, casinos, restaurants and shops are always helpful and friendly. As far as payouts, you win some you lose some.

EMPLOYEES ARE PEOPLE . well it took me a long time to really say what i feel about this company. it destroyed our lives, since my wife got injured working for the company. she was treated unfairly , discriminated against. her injuries were not her fault but this company uses everything at their disposal in order to deny her claim. i can name more than five individuals who have had to deal with this issue. these people have never bounced back since they got hurt. this one lady who is supposed to have knee replacement because she got hurt there was screwed big time, her doctor was able to reverse his findings in order to favor the casino. the doctor said that he was going through a lot when he wrote the initial report , suddenly he had an epiphany. well people these are people like you who love to work and really respect the fact that a company like that would give them a job , but now they are finding out that the company was using them and their goal is to maximize their profit. i was around when the tribe was asking to be recognized , they felt the same way , that the federal government was not fair and that they deserve to be a people and they deserve to get help from the government, now that they have been going for over 18 years strong , they forget that workers need protections and compensation when they are hurt. when a company that big refuses to pay an injured person's bill or deny them the care they need , it is sad. they should know that their actions have destroyed lives and some way , some how people will gather and use a class action against them. our lives have changed , we are not happy , the physical pain she is in , the emotion and all have put her in a state of shock. the financial problems i guess is eating her inside because she is scared one day, will be the day that she loses her home. bank accounts depleted and still the company who was negligent refuses to pay the bills , you have to fight to get something paid, they contest everything, including their own findings. all she does is cry , so i have had enough of this. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE WITHIN THE COMPANY , THIS IS THE TIME TO TACKLE THIS INJUSTICE. STAY TUNED

My favorite Casino in the North East as they have a lot of my favorite games (Baccarat, Black Jack, Sic Bo). A very good $20L/$25D Buffet (though the prime ribs have been overcooked toughness the past six months). They have the best bus schedules & packages from Flushing and Chinatown. Winning and losing usually evens out (as long as your not stuck on the same losing slots or table and know how to walk). I'd prefer this casino to say Caesars, Resorts AC, Trump Plaza any day of the week though for Buffet, you have to check out Harrahs and Borgata. Speaking of AC casino, what I do miss is from AC that they never have in Mohegan Sun are free Black Jack tournaments or better ways to attract people to come especially in the summer. Their sweepstakes are a joke as you don't have a chance to win the way you do in say almost every AC casino. In Mohegan Sun, at least one comp is one dollar (sure you have cents too) but in AC, one comp is thirty-fifty cents. Mohegan Sun's shops are only bested by Caesars' The Pier Shops. Night clubs are slightly better in AC and by that I mean places like Borgata, Revel, Harrahs. But in the end of the day, it's a dark room with Superloud Music, Way Overpriced drinks, and a possibility to catch or spread STDs/Ebola. All in all, my favorite. Also if its your first time going, be sure to bring any Atlantic City Casino players card and ID to any Mohegan Sun players's club and they'll give you $100 slots for free.

Clean, well designed, beautiful casino with lots to do. Hotel rooms are nice. My Keurig coffee machine in the room was not working and did not get fixed when I called the front desk. This is the only reason for less than perfect score.
