In 1968, MxCC graduated 41 students at the College's first commencement ceremony. Flash forward almost 50 years later and we are graduating over 400 students!
A nostalgic look at the first annual commencement at MxCC and how the College became established thanks to the vision and willpower of community members like Philip D. Wheaton and former Connecticut Governor Wilbert Snow.

I attended this school as late as 2008. This school is of terrible quality. With few outliers, the teaching staff I encountered was "bottom of the barrel". My 'veteran' math teacher, spoke English as a second language! I did poorly at this school, and yet, I had never been a poor performing student in the past. Thankfully, I finished my degree elsewhere with a much higher GPA. I would describe myself as creative & a self starter.
